Sirsi Aligns Leadership for Continued Growth

Huntsville, Alabama-October 20, 2003-Sirsi Corporation, the leader in new-name sales of library technology around the world*, announced today a strategic plan for focusing the talents of two key Sirsi executives to ensure the company's continued industry leadership and worldwide expansion. Andrew Morrice becomes the company's vice president of Asia-Pacific operations, and will concentrate on increasing Sirsi's leadership in the burgeoning Asia-Pacific region. Marty Keeley, who joined Sirsi in August 2003 as vice president of strategic initiatives, now becomes vice president of strategic initiatives and sales, with responsibilities for Sirsi sales operations as well as key strategic programs for Sirsi's clients. Morrice and Keeley undertake these assignments immediately.

Morrice, who lived in Melbourne before coming to the United States in 2000, returns to Australia to focus on expanding Sirsi's business throughout the Asia-Pacific region. "Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and other nations in the region offer great opportunities for Sirsi's suite of products," said Sommers. "We're confident that Andrew's 10-plus years of experience in the library community will serve him well in this new role." In addition to his role as vice president of Asia-Pacific operations, Morrice will also become managing director of Sirsi Australia.

Marty Keeley will use his extensive experience at Baker & Taylor, Ingram Services, and Gaylord Information Systems, as well as the many relationships he has established throughout the library community, to help Sirsi continue the strong sales growth the organization has long enjoyed. "Marty has made a significant start at Sirsi, and I am excited to see him assume these additional responsibilities," said Sommers. "Not only will Marty help direct sales efforts, he will help oversee initiatives that will ensure that we serve our clients better than ever before." Charles Farley, Sirsi's director of sales, and Keeley will work closely together in leading the company's sales organization.

"Today, more than 10,000 individual libraries around the globe rely on Sirsi technology as a result of the phenomenal growth we've experienced in recent years," said Sommers. "Andrew and Marty are now going to ensure that Sirsi takes one more important step in our plan to continue as the library community's technology leader."
