Sirsi Announces Year-End Sales

Huntsville, Alabama — September 15, 2003 — Sirsi Corporation, the leader in new-name sales of technology for libraries around the world*, today announced its year-end sales. "The results of Sirsi's sales year, from July 1, 2002, to June 30, 2003, are gratifying and demonstrate the continuing wide acceptance of the Sirsi system and approach to library technology," said Patrick C. Sommers, Sirsi's chief executive officer. "The year has ended with the largest sales-year volume in Sirsi's history, as a result of our signing more than 200 new contracts for the Unicorn Library Management System and Sirsi Rooms.

"Additionally, with our recently announced Client Care initiative, Sirsi is taking the lead in the industry by continuing to expand on our world-class client services," said Sommers. Some of the new clients gained during the 2002-2003 sales year include: Cleveland Public Library (OH); Orange County Public Library (CA); Public Library of Cincinnati-Hamilton County (OH); Rochester Public Library (MN); U.S. Department of the Navy Library (DC); Bemis Public Library of Littleton (CO); Beaufort (SC) Public Library; PALS Plus, Inc. (NJ); North Carolina Piedmont Independent College Association, Inc (NC); INFOhio (OH); and The Library Network (MI); Constitutional Court of South Africa; University of Manitoba (MB); Atlanta-Fulton Public Library (GA); Charleston County Public Library (SC); and Chesapeake Public Library (VA).
