The DB/TextWorks backend is highly customizable in all components even for solo staff with only intermediate technological skills and there is no need to request vendor support for batch updates or new metadata fields. We are able to have separate cataloging / metadata options for bibliographic items, physical artifacts, and projects (our implementation does not use MARC, though). This year's upgrade of the Presto OPAC greatly improved the mobile interface and responsive design. Vendor has been very responsive to feature requests.
