(infoXpert) The Councils Online Consortium in NSW Australia has commenced live operation of the Amlib Library Management System from InfoVision. The Consortium has implemented the latest version of Amlib, which enables libraries to extensively customize the appearance of all Amlib Web Opac screens separately for each library service within the consortium.

(Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) Innovative Interfaces announced that 24 institutions purchased or upgraded to Millennium in the second quarter of 2004. During this period, total sales of market-first Electronic Resource Management exceeded 60, including several key stand-alone sales.

A new company, InfoVision Africa Pty Ltd, has been established for the distribution and support of the Amlib library system, with immediate effect.

(infoXpert) In 2002, InfoVision established direct operations in North America to handle the marketing and support of InfoVision's Electronic Records & Document Management Software. In 2004, InfoVision consolidated the direct distribution and support of Amlib into its existing InfoVision North American operations. Amlib was previously distributed in North America by Brodart Automation, and this change in arrangement enables each company to serve the library community by focusing on their individual areas of expertise.

(infoXpert) InfoVision Technology Pty of Australia, had appointed a new distributor for its products in the UK and Ireland. A new company, InfoVision Technology Limited has been established to take over responsibility for the distribution and support of the Amlib library system, with effect from 1st April 2003.

December 20, 2002

(InfoVision Technology) A syndicate of five NSW Councils have signed a ten year contract worth in excess of A$100M over the contract term with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Australia. The IT and services solution will support local government business operations and enable improved business relationships with council customers. The five councils, Hornsby, Lake Macquarie, Parramatta, Randwick, and Wyong, selected Cap Gemini Ernst & Young after an intensive and comprehensive competitive procurement process. The project will commence early in the first quarter of 2003 with the first of three phases of capability scheduled to go live in early 2004. Cap Gemini Ernst & Young will also manage the operation of the solution on behalf of the councils for the term of the contract.

(infoXpert) InfoVision Technology and Altarama Systems have concluded an agreement for InfoVision Technology to provide support for the Altarama library software products and a migration path for all Altarama customers (using Data*Library, VTLS or Virtua) to InfoVision''s Windows based Amlib Library Management System.

(InfoVision Technology) Altarama Systems Pty Ltd and InfoVision Technology Pty Ltd have concluded an agreement for InfoVision to provide continuing support for the library software products supplied by Altarama to their customers.

(infoXpert) To use Amlib with Unicode you will need MS SQLServer 7 with SP2 or higher (may also work with Oracle but not tested yet). However, SQLBase does not support Unicode.

(Brodart, Inc.) Brodart Automation today announced their first US installation of Amlib in their home state of Pennsylvania. DuBois Public Library installed the Australian developed library management software, Amlib, on June 29th.

(Brodart, Inc.) Brodart Automation today announced their partnership with InfoVision Technology. As part of this business partnership, Brodart Automation will now offer the Library Management System, Amlib, to school, public, academic and special library customers and to future customers in the US and Canada.
