ProQuest integrates ebook data with Talis Aspire, simplifying reading list workflows. ProQuest has collaborated with Talis, a SAGE Publishing Company, to integrate ProQuest Ebook Central platform pricing and holdings data into Talis Aspire, a tool used by libraries to create and manage resource lists to support university curriculum. Using Talis Aspire, faculty can create reading lists for their courses and send these lists to the library for review and purchase. Now, when a requested book is available through the ProQuest Ebook Central platform, Talis Aspire will display prices, available access models and information on what the library already owns, avoiding duplication. As Californians begin a school year like no other, access to authoritative databases for teaching and learning is critical. Through the California K-12 Online Content Project, managed by the California State Library, all public school districts and charter schools in the state get unlimited access to a wealth of ProQuest and other resources for the duration of the 2020-21 school year.
