Ex Libris UNC Charlotte joins the Ex Libris Rapido early adopter program to transform library services. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the University of North Carolina Charlotte has joined the early adopter program of the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing solution. As a founding member of the Rapido early adopter program, UNC Charlotte's J. Murrey Atkins Library will help shape the way in which the Rapido solution evolves and interoperates with the library ecosystem. Ex Libris Ex Libris adds Leganto and Esploro to FedRAMP authorization to operate from the United States government. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company announced that the Ex Libris Leganto course resource list solution and Ex Libris Esploro research information management solution are now included in the United States Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and, under the sponsorship of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, have been added to the Ex Libris Authorization to Operate. Ex Libris WU – Vienna University of Economics and Business goes live with Ex Libris Leganto, providing easy access to course materials. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that WU – Vienna University of Economics and Business has gone live with the Ex Libris Leganto course materials service. The university opted to move to the Leganto service as part of WU's digitization strategy, which calls for developing new forms of teaching and increasing support for distance learning. Ex Libris Ex Libris first in industry to attain ISO 27701:2019 Certification for Privacy Information Management Systems. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the company has achieved certification for ISO 27701:2019, an international standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the only organization in the library software industry to do so. ISO 27701:2019 provides a code of practice for maintaining the privacy of data in a privacy information management system (PIMS). This standard establishes privacy requirements, helps organizations manage risks related to personally identifiable information (PII), and outlines a comprehensive set of operational controls that can be mapped to various regulations. Ex Libris announced that the University of Barcelona has selected the Ex Libris campusM mobile app and web portal for the university community to use. With campusM in operation, the University aims to embrace mobile communication and connect with users via their mobile devices. The objective is to bring together –in a single application– various important functions including the ability to send notifications to different user groups, generate group loyalty through the use of the app and create another form of communication between the University and the students. Ex Libris Universidade Estadual Paulista becomes the first institution in Brazil to select Ex Libris Alma. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) (São Paulo State University) has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform to unify the management of its physical and electronic library collections and provide seamless access to the digital collection, an aggregate of more than three million items. For the 34 member libraries, the Alma platform will replace the Ex Libris Aleph system, which has served the institution for more than two decades. Ex Libris SLSP, the largest Swiss Library Network serving hundreds of libraries, selects Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing solution. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the Swiss Library Service Platform has signed an agreement to join the early adopter program for the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing solution. A national library network for Swiss universities and research institutions, SLSP is scheduled to go live in 2021 and is the first Rapido network in Europe. Ex Libris Rice University Becomes 200th Institution to select Ex Libris Leganto to enhance support for remote teaching and learning. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Rice University has signed an agreement with Ex Libris to implement the company's Leganto course resource list solution.
