October 22, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox welcomed Wayne and Pike County Libraries to Evergreen with their successful migrations to the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium. Wayne and Pike County Libraries’ move will support 37,059 patrons. The migration included a total of 118,987 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed as part of their migration encompassing item, patron, and transaction records.

(Equinox) Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of the Eastern Cluster of Lutheran Seminaries to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide. Their migration involved 318,801 bibliographic records and 2,929 patrons at the university. Equinox provided authority control and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and implementation. Remote training for Koha was also provided as part of the migration by Equinox.

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of John Brown University Library to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide .

August 26, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox is accepting applications for the Equinox Open Source Grant. Successful applicants will receive hosting and support for Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide.

August 21, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of Carleton University’s Audio Visual Collection to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide. Their migration involved 14,633 bibliographic records and 134 patrons at the college. Equinox provided implementation and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and auxiliary services.

(Equinox) Equinox is honored to announce its first in-kind grant, the Equinox Open Source Grant. The program provides hosting and support of Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide,successful grantee library.

June 10, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox welcomed Westchester Library System to Evergreen. The adoption of Evergreen by the Westchester Library System will support their 399,438 patrons in addition to migrating 959,561 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included Evergreen support, hosting, and auxiliary services in addition to project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed including authority, item, patron, transaction, acquisitions, and serials data. Authority Control services were provided during migration plus RDA and Lexile Enrichment. Staff of the Westchester Library System prepared for the migration with on site and remote training from Equinox.

(Equinox) Equinox is pleased to welcome Bucyrus Public Library to Evergreen with their successful migration to the Consortium of Ohio Libraries with partnership from OhioNET.

(Equinox) Equinox welcomed the Degenstein Community Library to Evergreen with their successful migration to the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium.

March 20, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of the Clymer Library to Evergreen within the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium. The Clymer Library joins four other Monroe County Libraries as part of SPARK.

(Equinox) Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of Phillipsburg Free Public Library into the open source community with their deployment of Koha.

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of Clearfield County Public Library, Curwensville Public Library, Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, and the DuBois Public Library to Evergreen within the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium.

November 29, 2018

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of the Public Library of Catasauqua to Evergreen within the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative and the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium. Equinox provided project management and configuration as part of the migration in addition to data hosting and support. To prepare for the migration remote and onsite training was provided by Equinox to the Public Library of Catasauqua staff.

(Equinox) As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting public libraries, Above the Treeline and the Equinox Open Library Initiative are excited to announce a tool which facilitates export of data from Koha into Edelweiss, allowing for detailed collection analysis. Libraries who use Koha will be able to easily configure scheduled data exports from their Koha ILS into Edelweiss+Analytics.
