Innovative, a ProQuest company and leading global provider of library software, announced today that Suffolk Cooperative Library System in New York has joined six other public libraries in the Innovative Development Partner program for Vega, a new patron engagement and discovery solution for public libraries. The Development Partner program advances Innovative's products through advisory discussions, usability testing, and beta testing. The public libraries participating for Vega represent millions of patrons and a combined annual circulation of over 10 million.

This improvement will allow Koha libraries to immediately make use of the plugin without having to pay for additional development services or wait for a technical change to the core Koha ILS.

(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative announces the availability of Curbside Pickup for libraries using Koha ILS. The specifications and workflow for the new Koha plugin were designed by Equinox staff members Galen Charlton, Sally Fortin, and Andrea Buntz Neiman following the successful release of the Curbside Pickup functionality developed by Equinox for Evergreen ILS in June. The Koha plugin specifications were released to the Koha community with a call for co-sponsorship on July 29, 2020. Koha developer Kyle M. Hall of ByWater Solutions announced initial development of Equinox's specifications this week.

(Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) Innovative has launched the Polaris Release 6.6 featuring print notices processing and serials check in for the Polaris Leap web application and a new, optional data privacy feature for the PowerPAC. In Polaris 6.6, library staff will now be able to generate and post circulation notices directly from Leap. Previously, circulation staff completed most of their daily workflows in Leap but still used the staff client to post notification details to patron accounts. Innovative added print notices in Leap based on customer feedback to enable circulation staff to work freely in Leap from anywhere without returning to the Polaris client to complete daily operations.
