(Higher Education Library Technology) Theses and dissertations (TDs) form a core part of the research outputs of an academic institution. However, they do not usually get the same attention as journal published research. Universities are doing more to make this category of research outputs more easily discoverable to a growing global community of scholars. In this way they increase visibility for the institution and individual by amplifying the reach to the wider scholarly community.

(Insight Informatics) To better serve the German LIBERO customer base and the German library market, the LIBERO team has established LIBERO IS GmbH (LIBERO Information Systems) in Germany. This will give German library sites the option to contract directly with LIBERO IS GmbH should it be required. The ability to engage directly with Insight Informatics Pty. Ltd. (Australia) also remains an option.

(Patron Point) Patron Point announced that Sequoyah Regional Library System (SRLS) of Canton, GA, has selected its patron relationship management system to help drive its patron engagement and web marketing efforts. Of particular interest for SRLS was Patron Point's ability to support efforts to reach non-cardholders and re-engage “inactive” patrons.

(Preservica) Preservica, the market leader in active digital preservation, has been selected by the University of Pittsburgh Library System (ULS) to safeguard over two million digitized pages and born-digital materials including university records, archives, and special collections.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Aalto University in Finland has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Primo discovery and delivery solution as part of a drive to upgrade the university's library. The integrated systems will unify the management of resources, simplify and automate workflows, free up staff for working on new initiatives, and strengthen the library's ability to make comprehensive services available remotely.

(Ingram Content Group) panOpen and VitalSource announced a distribution agreement to deliver panOpen OER-based courseware across the network of VitalSource higher education institutions and partners.

(OCLC) The Ingalls Library and Museum Archives, part of the Cleveland Museum of Art, is now using OCLC's WorldShare Management Services as its library services platform. WorldShare Management Services (WMS) is a cloud-based library services platform with WorldCat as its foundation, which allows library staff to draw on the collaborative data and work of libraries worldwide for more efficient workflows. WMS also enables staff to better manage resources in all formats and to provide their users with improved access to the library's collections and the world's knowledge.

(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative announced the successful migration of John Bulow Campbell Library at Columbia Theological Seminary to the Koha Integrated Library System.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the School of Psychology, Counseling, and Family Therapy at Wheaton College is now live on Koha!

(Auto-Graphics, Inc.) Auto-Graphics announced the agreement with South Dakota State Library for new agreements for their cloud-based resource sharing solution, SHAREit, and its integrated library system, VERSO. A-G's VERSO was selected following a competitive RFI in Q1 of 2020, allowing A-G to expand their presence in the mid-west of the United States and extend current relations with the state library into 2025.

(LibLynx) Gruyter is partnering with LibLynx to power identity, access and analytics for their new digital publishing platform. De Gruyter's goal is a highly customized digital platform that allows the publishing house to become more user-centered and data-driven and react much more flexibly to customer needs. In particular, they want to explore more efficient and innovative approaches that support a diverse portfolio of subscription and open access content.

(Springshare) Springshare announces the completion of the QuestionPoint 24/7 Reference Cooperative's transfer to the LibAnswers 24/7 Chat Cooperative. Since its launch on February 28, 2020, over 2,800 librarians have joined the global community of Springshare 24/7 librarians and contributing libraries to answer more than 30,000 chats while patrons' local libraries were busy or offline -- questions that would have been unanswered otherwise.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Sorbonne University has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution as part of a drive to improve library services. The new system will simplify workflows for library staff and patrons and automate many key tasks, giving staff members more time to develop innovative services and support patrons from any location.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the Carl S. Swisher Library, Jacksonville University is now live on Koha. ByWater completed the transition of the library's 512,000 plus holdings from OCLC and is providing ongoing support services to the library. The library's customized Koha OPAC can be viewed at

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced the launch of its Cloud Apps open framework, which enables apps written by Ex Libris community members and a broader ecosystem of partners to run inside the Ex Libris higher-ed cloud platform. The first Cloud Apps will be made available with the August release of the Ex Libris Alma library services platform. Since the launch of the Ex Libris App Center last year, the community has shared more than 60 apps in the App Center marketplace, helping users meet essential and changing institutional needs. The Cloud Apps open framework extends the openness, agility, and adaptability of the Ex Libris higher-ed cloud platform to the next level.
