SirsiDynix LOUIS adds multiple SirsiDynix Symphony customers to its community. LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network has extended its SirsiDynix Symphony community to include 33 sites since adding Centenary College and Northshore Technical Community College in 2013 and Xavier in 2014. LOUIS is also growing to include Our Lady of Holy Cross College and aims to add more technical community colleges in the coming years. Symphony is a driving force behind SirsiDynix’s BLUEcloud Suite, allowing libraries to benefit from efficient, intuitive technology with the flexibility to edit catalogs, fulfill user needs, accept debit payments, and more. SIRSI Corporation. Council of Atlantic University Libraries Teams with Sirsi to Create Consortium-wide Portal for Scholarly Information. Sirsi Corporation announced that the Council of Atlantic University Libraries, a consortium of 17 universities in four provinces in Atlantic Canada, is planning to launch the Atlantic Scholarly Information Network Portal, a resource discovery and content management system that will deliver scholarly information and services, regardless of format, to more than 80,000 students, faculty, and staff. Set to launch in September 2005, the portal will use the Sirsi Enterprise Portal Solution. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Novanet Consortium selects ALEPH 500. Ex Libris Inc. announced that the Novanet consortium in Nova Scotia has selected ALEPH 500 to replace its existing GEAC Advance library management system. Novanet is comprised of the libraries of the Atlantic School of Theology, Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, NSCAD University, Nova Scotia Community College, Saint Mary’s University, St. Francis Xavier University, University College of Cape Breton, and University of King’s College. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. ILCSO Library Consortium selects Endeavor's Voyager: resource sharing capabilities, new technology benefit 45 libraries across Illinois. Endeavor Information Systems announced the Illinois Library Computer Systems Organization (ILCSO) has selected the Voyager integrated library management system for 45 of the state''s university, college and community college member libraries and the Illinois State Library. The implementation, anticipated to be completed by June 2002, will affect more than 2,000 library staff and 334,000 higher education students throughout Illinois. [Full Announcement].

VTLS, Inc.. Five more U.S. libraries go live with Virtua ILS. VTLS Inc. recently installed five new domestic libraries with Virtua ILS – Integrated Library Systems. AT&T, the Pentagon, Marshall University, West Virginia State College and Val Verde School District have upgraded their systems from classic VTLS to Virtua ILS. In addition to special Virtua subsystems, most of the libraries acquired Virtua''s base systems including OPAC, cataloging, circulation, acquisitions, reports and serials. These new installations increase the number of worldwide Virtua commitments to 72. [Full Announcement].
