Tulane University Libraries to adopt Ex Libris Alma library services platform. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Tulane University has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform. The move to the new platform will enable the university’s libraries to unify the management of their electronic resources and make them as easily discoverable as possible. [Full Announcement].

Research Libraries in North America Continue to Select Ex Libris Primo with the Primo Central Index. Ex Libris announced that the North American Primo community is continuing to expand rapidly, with the addition of numerous research institutions that have opted for locally hosted or cloud-based implementations of the Primo discovery and delivery solution. Academic institutions in North America that have recently selected Primo and the Primo Central Index include Boston University, Purdue University, Texas A&M University, Texas Woman’s University, Tulane University, University of Alberta, University of Kansas, University of Texas at Dallas, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Tulane University transitions to the cloud with VoyagerPlus and selects Primo with its Central Index. Ex Libris announced that Tulane University has selected the Primo discovery and delivery solution, with its Central Index of scholarly materials, and the bX article recommender service. At the same time, Tulane’s libraries are moving their Voyager integrated library system, SFX OpenURL link resolver, and MetaLib metasearch solution to the Ex Libris cloud environment. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Newly-released Endeavor Meridian already in implementation at 17 libraries. Endeavor Information Systems announced that 17 libraries are currently in the process of implementing Endeavor Meridian, the electronic resource management system which entered general release on June 1st. Furthermore, two libraries – Princeton University and the London School of Economics – are currently in daily production use. [Full Announcement].
