Syosset Library (NY) personalizes the library experience with Patron Point

Dublin, OH - January 3, 2019 - The Syosset Library (NY) has taken a big step in offering its patrons a more personalized experience on the web. With the adoption of the Patron Point patron relationship management platform, the Library will begin to offer targeted email communications that not only provide individualized content, but also highlight products and services of specific interest to patrons.

"We offer so many different types of programs and serve such a wide variety of audiences," states Christine Belling, Director of the Syosset Public Library. "Patron Point, will help us spread the word more effectively and ensure that patrons know about activities that may be of particular interest to them."

Patron Point's Ted Fons agrees, "Many libraries feel the need to talk about all of their services all of the time, but good marketing practices say that focusing your message has much greater impact. With Patron Point, the Library can focus communications based on previous use, patron type, preferences, and more."

Best yet, Patron Point boasts quick installation and set up with average launch times of less than three weeks. "Once we made the decision to move forward, we were very pleased how quickly the Patron Point team jumped into action, continues Belling. "The staff can't wait to get started."
