Zepheira. Zepheira now working with Library of Michigan to Transform, publish Michigan eLibrary MeLCat catalog to linked data on the Web. Zepheira announces a partnership with the Library of Michigan and Midwest Collaborative for Library Services to transform the Michigan eLibrary catalog’s bibliographic data into Linked Data for broader incorporation into the Web. Michigan is the first State library to bring a large scale set of library catalog data to the Web with Linked Data technologies developed by Zepheira, namely the Library.Link Network. Lyrasis LYRASIS to Host MCLS Michigan Evergreen ILS Group. LYRASIS and the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services announced a new partnership to host the Evergreen Open Source Integrated Library System for six MCLS member libraries. The LYRASIS-hosted site is already live and will run through 2015, with LYRASIS providing 24-hour support and administration. The six MCLS libraries are Branch District Library, Niles District Library, Barryton Public Library, Darcy Library of Beulah, Laingsburg Public Library and Oscoda County Library. The Evergreen ILS is a cost-efficient and fully customizable system that also allows participating libraries to contribute to the wider open source community.
