(OCLC) Four leading academic libraries in New Zealand have migrated to Tipasa, the first cloud-based interlibrary loan management system that automates routine borrowing and lending functions for individual libraries. The University of Canterbury, University of Waikato, Auckland University of Technology and University of Otago expect to go-live in December 2018.

(Talis) Talis announced that Auckland University of Technology have selected to implement Talis Aspire to deliver their online reading lists and copyright-cleared content service.

(Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) Innovative announced that Auckland University of Technology Library has selected the Sierra Library Services Platform, to be hosted at the company's new data center in Sydney, Australia. The library will also provide integrated discovery with Encore Duet and will be migrating from a Voyager ILS provided by Ex Libris and the Summon Service discovery product from ProQuest. The physical collections of the Library number over 230,000 items.
