(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that they are providing support and hosting services for the Aspen Discovery Open Source system for Arlington Public Library in Virginia. Arlington Public Library has a service population of over 212,000 individuals, a collection of 500,000 plus resources, and an annual circulation of 3 million transactions a year.

(Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) Three libraries have joined the Central Library Consortium in Ohio, accounting for 14 member libraries that are now live on the Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS). The newest members include Upper Arlington Public Library and Bexley Public Library, migrating from Virtua and Millennium respectively, as well as current Polaris customer London Public Library.

(Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) Arlington Public Library's new online digital archive is now available to the public. Students, researchers, genealogists, and the Arlington community now have online access to the digitized portions of the Library's rich local history collections through Content Pro, Innovative's digital collection management solution. Digitized collections include Arlington County Government Photographs, 1915-1997; Arlington Structures and Places, 1996-2006; Arlington's Changing Scene, 1997-2010; Department of Health Annual Report Photographs, 1938-1973; and Photographs of the Negro Recreation Section, 1948-1955.

Since early 2011, libraries of all types—public, academic, and consortia—have chosen Innovative's Content Pro to increase the visibility and accessibility of their digital collections on the Web. The product is seeing broad-based acceptance among libraries because its easy-to-use publishing interface saves staff time and its strong search capabilities connect users with the resources they need. The following libraries have recently selected Content Pro: Arlington Public Library (VA), Chesterfield County Public Library (VA), Hartford Public Library (CT), Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), Middle Country Public Library (NY), Norfolk State University (VA), Qatar Foundation Central Library (Qatar), Saskatchewan Information and Library Services Consortium (Canada), the University of Memphis (TN), and Western Pocono Community Library (PA).

Arlington Public Library and Arlington Public Schools in Arlington, VA are now live with the Encore discovery services platform, Millennium ILS, and a full-suite of software from Innovative. In a joint decision to continue a partnership that goes back more than a decade, each institution has implemented an independent Millennium and Encore installation. Both institutions are migrating from CARL.X and AquaBrowser systems. This upgrade of library technology allows both the Arlington Public Library and Arlington Public Schools to better present a uniform interface to the patrons and students of Arlington County.

(Polaris Library Systems) Gaylord Information Systems announced that three library systems (the Lisle Library District, the Arlington Public Library System, and the Clearwater Public Library) have agreed to upgrade from GALAXY to the Polaris Integrated Library System.

(Polaris Library Systems) Gaylord Information Systems announced that the Arlington Public Library System will migrate from GALAXY to the Polaris Integrated Library System.
