(Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative) The Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative welcomed three new partners to its initiative to fund development in the Evergreen open-source Integrated Library System. Bibliomation (Connecticut), BC Libraries Cooperative (Canada) and Howe Library (New Hampshire) are joining the new MassLNC Evergreen Development Initiative.

(Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative) The Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative announced a new program to grow membership in its development collaborative to more libraries and consortia in the Evergreen community. The MassLNC Evergreen Development Initiative is an opportunity for libraries and consortia running Evergreen to maximize their resources by pooling funds to sponsor exciting new features and important bug fixes for the open-source system.

(Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative) C/W MARS and NOBLE consortia in Massachusetts have migrated to Evergreen. They joined a third MassLNC consortium, MVLC, which moved to the open-source system in May 2011. These two migrations bring Evergreen to 183 libary systems in the state of Massachusetts.

(Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative) Katherine Lussier has been appointed the project coordinator of the Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative (MassLNC), a joint of project of the Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing, the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium and the North Of Boston Library Exchange. Funded with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Mass. Board of Library Commissioners, and by participating libraries, MassLNC is focusing efforts on the Evergreen library system.
