Equinox Equinox migrates Brookfield Public Library to the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. Equinox welcomes Brookfield Public Library to the Evergreen ILS with their successful migration to the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. The Brookfield Public Library's move will support 1,116 patrons and encompass a total of 2,1307 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed as part of their migration encompassing item, patron, and transaction records. Remote training was also provided by Equinox. Equinox Equinox migrates the Saint Peter School District to Evergreen ILS with the Traverse de Sioux Library Cooperative. Equinox announced the successful migration of the Saint Peter School District to Evergreen ILS as part of the Traverse de Sioux Library Cooperative in Mankato, Minnesota. [Full Announcement].

Equinox Applications open for the 2021 Equinox Open Source Grant. Equinox Open Library Initiative is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2021 Equinox Open Source Grant. Libraries, archives, museums, and other eligible educational, cultural, and information organizations are encouraged to apply. The grant application period opens on September 8, 2020 and closes on November 1, 2020. Two grantees will be selected. All applicants will be notified of the status of their application by December 20, 2020. [Full Announcement].

Equinox Equinox announces Evergreen ILS Migrations for the First Quarter 2020. Equinox Open Library Initiative is pleased to announce the successful migrations of four new libraries to Evergreen ILS. In the first quarter of 2020, Keller Public Library of Dexter, Missouri joined the Missouri Evergreen Consortium (MEC), following Barry Lawrence Regional Library and Montgomery City Public Library who both joined the consortium in late 2019. Other libraries that celebrated Evergreen migrations in the first part of the year include Wilmington Public Library of Clinton County, Ohio as part of the Consortium of Ohio Libraries and West Lincoln Public Library in Ontario, Canada as part of the Libraries in Niagara Consortium. Equinox Equinox Announces Update to Curbside Pickup Plugin for Koha ILS. Equinox Open Library Initiative announced completion of the latest update to the Curbside Pickup plugin for libraries using Koha ILS. This improvement will allow Koha libraries to immediately make use of the plugin without having to pay for additional development services or wait for a technical change to the core Koha ILS. Equinox Equinox announces curbside pickup now available for Koha ILS. Equinox Open Library Initiative announces the availability of Curbside Pickup for libraries using Koha ILS. The specifications and workflow for the new Koha plugin were designed by Equinox staff members Galen Charlton, Sally Fortin, and Andrea Buntz Neiman following the successful release of the Curbside Pickup functionality developed by Equinox for Evergreen ILS in June. The Koha plugin specifications were released to the Koha community with a call for co-sponsorship on July 29, 2020. Koha developer Kyle M. Hall of ByWater Solutions announced initial development of Equinox's specifications this week. [Full Announcement].

Equinox Open Library Initiative is honored to announce the successful migration of the Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico, a division of the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the Koha Integrated Library System. They were one of two 2019 Equinox Open Source Grant recipients. [Full Announcement].

Equinox New Curbside Pickup Feature Coming Soon for Evergreen. Equinox Open Library Initiative announces the development of Curbside Pickup for libraries using Evergreen ILS. The latest feature, expected to be available in June, was designed by Equinox and supported by the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS), the non-profit which oversees SPARK, an Evergreen consortium in the state of Pennsylvania. Equinox Equinox migrates Oregon County Library District to the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. Equinox welcomed the Oregon County Library District to Evergreen with their successful migration to the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. The Oregon County Library District’s move will support 2,225 patrons and encompass a total of 51,744 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed as part of their migration encompassing item, patron, and transaction records. Equinox Wayne and Pike County Libraries migrate to Evergreen with the PaILS/SPARK Consortium. Equinox welcomed Wayne and Pike County Libraries to Evergreen with their successful migrations to the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium. Wayne and Pike County Libraries’ move will support 37,059 patrons. The migration included a total of 118,987 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included project management and Evergreen software configuration. Equinox Equinox migrates Eastern Cluster of Eastern Seminaries to Koha. Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of the Eastern Cluster of Lutheran Seminaries to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide. Their migration involved 318,801 bibliographic records and 2,929 patrons at the university. Equinox provided authority control and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and implementation. Remote training for Koha was also provided as part of the migration by Equinox.
