(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative is honored to announce the successful migration of the Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico, a division of the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the Koha Integrated Library System. They were one of two 2019 Equinox Open Source Grant recipients.

(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative announced the successful migration of John Bulow Campbell Library at Columbia Theological Seminary to the Koha Integrated Library System.

(Equinox) Equinox announces the successful migration of the Oman Library at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C. to a new, updated Koha instance.

(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative announced the successful migration of Dominican University College of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to the Koha Integrated Library System .

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of the Putnam County Library to Evergreen as part of the Missouri Evergreen Consortium.

(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative announces the development of Curbside Pickup for libraries using Evergreen ILS. The latest feature, expected to be available in June, was designed by Equinox and supported by the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS), the non-profit which oversees SPARK, an Evergreen consortium in the state of Pennsylvania.

(Equinox) Equinox Open Library Initiative is honored to announce that Lisa Carlucci will be joining Equinox as Executive Director beginning April 6, 2020.

February 17, 2020

(Equinox) Equinox welcomed the Oregon County Library District to Evergreen with their successful migration to the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. The Oregon County Library District’s move will support 2,225 patrons and encompass a total of 51,744 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed as part of their migration encompassing item, patron, and transaction records. Onsite and virtual training were also provided by Equinox.

(Equinox) Upon the completion of the first application cycle of the Equinox Open Source Grant, Equinox Open Library Initiative is honored to announce the first two grantees: Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico, a division of the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Spark Central in Spokane, Washington.

(Equinox) Equinox announced its collaboration with the Missouri Evergreen Consortium in providing hosting and support for its Evergreen instance.

October 22, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox welcomed Wayne and Pike County Libraries to Evergreen with their successful migrations to the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS) SPARK Consortium. Wayne and Pike County Libraries’ move will support 37,059 patrons. The migration included a total of 118,987 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed as part of their migration encompassing item, patron, and transaction records.

October 14, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of the Eastern Cluster of Lutheran Seminaries to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide. Their migration involved 318,801 bibliographic records and 2,929 patrons at the university. Equinox provided authority control and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and implementation. Remote training for Koha was also provided as part of the migration by Equinox.

September 10, 2019

(Equinox) Equinox announced the successful migration of John Brown University Library to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide .
