New Zealand's University of Canterbury Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha Library to adopt FOLIO LSP with hosting from EBSCO Information Services. The University of Canterbury Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha Library of New Zealand will begin the transition to adopt the FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP) with hosting and service support from EBSCO Information Services. Clarivate announced that Yale University has selected Clarivate to provide its library services and discovery platforms. Ex Libris Alma and Ex Libris Primo VE, both part of Clarivate, will provide Yale with a solution that integrates AI (artificial intelligence) and Linked Data to simplify the process for students, researchers and faculty. Yale will implement Ex Libris Alma and Ex Libris Primo VE to unify Yale's main and law libraries' workflows and data, including electronic and digital materials, onto a single platform. Franklin Township Public Library chooses Polaris and Vega Discover. Innovative, part of Clarivate, announced that the Franklin Township Public Library in Somerset County, New Jersey has selected Polaris as their new integrated library system and Vega Discover as their new discovery layer. The Franklin Township Public Library serves a community of approximately 68,500 residents with three branches. FTPL's collections include local resources, including physical and digital archives of local photos and newspapers, as well as a reference collection of New Jersey life and history. NHS libraries adopt Koha open source library management system in regional consortia, hosted and supported by PTFS Europe.. Multiple NHS library services in the regions of East of England, Kent Surrey and Sussex, London, the Midlands, North West England and Yorkshire/Humber have chosen Koha as the Library Management System for new and existing regional consortia. This week, the latest to go live is in the North West of England bringing together library systems from multiple NHS Trusts onto a single Koha system. Shared instances of this Open Source solution are replacing standalone local systems, delivering improved access to resources for healthcare staff, time-savings for library staff, and cost-savings for NHS organisations, as well as aligning with the NHS strategy of adopting Open Source technology where appropriate. OhioLINK selects Ex Libris Alma and Primo as next library services platform. OhioLINK, Ohio's academic library consortium, announces the selection of Ex Libris Alma, part of Clarivate, as the consortium's next shared library services platform. The new cloud-based platform will enhance library user experiences and services, improve efficiencies for day-to-day operations, and streamline collaboration and consortial functionality. The implementation process for OhioLINK's 117 member libraries is expected to take up to two years. In addition to Alma, OhioLINK will implement Primo VE and a suite of related products, including Leganto, Rapido, and Library Mobile, that will enhance services for users, library staff, and administration. Duke University joins Alma and Leganto community.
