The Marine Biological Association has chosen Open Fifth to host and support their Koha library management system to manage their collection at the National Marine Biological Library (NMBL). Clarivate LOUIS to implement Clarivate's Alma, Primo VE to modernize library services platforms. The Louisiana Library Network has signed an agreement designed to modernize Louisiana's academic libraries' infrastructure to support student and faculty access to academic resources. The transition to Alma and Primo VE from Clarivate will consolidate LOUIS member libraries' separate systems into a unified platform and deliver an estimated annual cost savings of more than $100,000, or 15% of current costs, with potential additional savings of up to $430,000 per year from platform consolidation. National Library of Technology. Nová knihovní platforma zásadně zlepší dostupnost informací pro akademickou a výzkumnou komunitu v ČR. Více než 30 vysokých škol a výzkumných organizací v České republice spojilo své síly v projektu CARDS vedeném Národní technickou knihovnou. Projekt paradigmaticky mění způsob spolupráce akademických knihoven prostřednictvím přechodu na společnou platformu. Tím zásadně zlepší dostupnost všech typů informačních zdrojů a posílí ekonomiku jejich sdílení, včetně výzkumných dat. Během prosince 2025 bylo uzavřeno výběrové řízení a dne 19. 1. 2026 byla podepsána smlouva s dodavatelem centrální komponenty nového systému. [Full Announcement].

National Library of Technology. New library platform will fundamentally improve the availability of information for the academic and research community in the Czech Republic. More than 30 universities and research organizations in the Czech Republic have joined forces in the CARDS project led by the National Technical Library. The project paradigmatically changes the way academic libraries cooperate by switching to a common platform. This will fundamentally improve the availability of all types of information resources and strengthen the economy of their sharing, including research data. EBSCO Information Services Heritage University Becomes Washington's First Academic Library to Use EBSCO-Hosted FOLIO. After more than a decade on its legacy system, Heritage University's Donald K. C. North Library will implement FOLIO as its next-generation library services platform, with implementation and hosting support from EBSCO Information Services. By migrating a rich image collection from CONTENTdm, audiovisual materials from Aviary, and digital exhibits from Omeka all into TIND DA, UTSW has enhanced the visibility and accessibility of its archival content.
