Corvallis-Benton County Public Library (OR) launches MessageBee SMS, Phone, and Email service from Unique Management. Unique Library announced the addition of a full suite of MessageBee patron engagement platform for Corvallis-Benton County Public Library this week. Patrons will receive 10-DLC compliant SMS notifications, attractive transactional and promotional newsletter-style emails, as well as access to phone notifications in both English and Spanish. Frederick Community College selects EBSCO FOLIO and EBSCO Discovery Service. Frederick Community College will enhance various aspects of its front and back-end library experience with the adoption of the FOLIO Library Services Platform and EBSCO Discovery Service. Through extensive technical expertise, hosting services, and ongoing support, the EBSCO FOLIO Implementation teams ensured a seamless transition to the LSP, which went live in August. Heidelberg University Library selects OCLC's WorldShare Management Services as its new library services platform. OCLC announced that internationally esteemed Heidelberg University Library has selected WorldShare Management Services (WMS) as its cloud-based library services platform. Minuteman Library Network selects Sierra for its shared integrated library system based on functionality and security. Innovative, part of Clarivaten announced that the Minuteman Library Network in Massachusetts has selected Sierra for a five-year renewal after evaluating available integrated library systems on the market through a formal Request for Proposal process. ByWater Solutions announces support of Aspen Discovery for the Milwaukee County Federated Library System. ByWater Solutions announced that they are providing support and hosting services for the Aspen Open Source Discovery system for the Milwaukee County Federated Library System in Wisconsin. MCFLS is a consortium in Wisconsin that supports 15 member libraries with their own catalogs representing 28 locations. They are using the Sierra ILS. [Full Announcement].

La BNE cambia su sistema de gestión bibliotecaria. The National Library of Spain will be migrating to Ex Libris Alma from SirsiDynix Symphony. En las próximas semanas la BNE sustituirá su actual sistema de gestión bibliotecaria, que es la herramienta que sustenta el catálogo en línea, así como la mayor parte de los procesos bibliotecarios: préstamo, catalogación, adquisiciones, gestión de publicaciones seriadas, etc. La Biblioteca ya ha afrontado con anterioridad diferentes procesos de migración de sistemas bibliotecarios, desde Sabini y Ariadna, a finales de los años 80 del siglo pasado, hasta llegar a Unicorn en 2007 y posteriormente Symphony en 2017, sistema al que ahora sustituye Alma. Universidad San Sebastian joins expanding Alma Community in Latin America. Ex Libris, part of Clarivate announced that the Library Network at Universidad San Sebastian is modernizing its library technology by adopting Alma as its next library management system and will also benefit from advanced library discovery service, Primo. Evergreen Indiana Consortium launches MessageBee SMS notifications. Unique Library announces the addition of MessageBee SMS notifications for the Indiana Evergreen consortium this week. Patrons will receive notifications from the library via SMS notifications, creating a new channel for their patrons. [Full Announcement].

NESCOT chooses Koha open source library management system, hosted and supported by PTFS Europe.. North East Surrey College of Technology has chosen PTFS Europe to host and support its Koha system. PTFS Europe has implemented the new system and will provide on-going hosting and support services to NESCOT to ensure its success in supporting these collections into the future. Columbia University selects FOLIO as new LSP with EBSCO FOLIO's support. The Columbia University Libraries joins the growing number of Association of Research Libraries member institutions to adopt the FOLIO Library Services Platform with the support of EBSCO Information Services. EBSCO will provide comprehensive hosting, implementation and support services to transition Columbia Libraries from the existing Voyager system to FOLIO. [Full Announcement].

Schaumburg Township District Library joins the Innovative family. Innovative, part of Clarivate, announced that the Schaumburg Township District Library in Schaumburg, Illinois have selected Polaris as their new Integrated Library System, Vega Discover Premium as their new discovery layer, Vega Program to manage events and room booking, Vega Promote to foster engagement with their community, and the Innovative Mobile app to provide the power of the library to their patrons wherever they are. La Red de Bibliotecas de Canarias ha dado un salto cualitativo en su infraestructura tecnológica al trasladar su catálogo colectivo a la nube de Baratz. Seton Hall University Libraries Select EBSCO FOLIO. The Seton Hall University Libraries will transition to the FOLIO Library Services Platform using EBSCO FOLIO hosting and implementation services from EBSCO Information Services. In transitioning from a locally hosted open-source system, FIU emphasized TIND's robust infrastructure, ongoing development, and accessible APIs as pivotal factors influencing their decision. City of Gold Coast Libraries selects SirsiDynix's SaaS-hosted Symphony ILS, BLUEcloud modules, and more. SirsiDynix announced that they will soon deliver several industry-leading solutions to Australia's City of Gold Coast Libraries. Among the products selected by the Queensland-based library network are Symphony, the most widely installed integrated library system in history, SirsiDynix SaaS, and a number of BLUEcloud modules.Located across the Gold Coast region, City of Gold Coast Libraries comprises 11 branch libraries, seven self-service kiosks, and a mobile library. The University of Southern Indiana has selected TIND DA, adding their third TIND product in three years.
