Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a private R1 research university recognized for its applied research and leadership in technology innovation, is joining the global network of institutions using FOLIO. WPI will migrate to the interoperable, library services platform hosted and supported by EBSCO Information Services, creating a unified library infrastructure that supports research, teaching and access across its academic community. Heidelberg University Library has successfully implemented OCLC's WorldShare Management Services. Heidelberg University Library and OCLC have successfully transitioned WorldShare Management Services into live operation. With a total of 35 institutes and department libraries, Heidelberg University's library system is one of the largest academic library systems in Germany and provides literature and information services to approximately 30,000 students and 6,500 researchers. Walla Walla Public Library is live on Aspen Discovery with ByWater Solutions support. ByWater Solutions, an open-source community contributor and America's forefront provider of Open Source library technology support, announced today that the Walla Walla Public Library in Washington is live on Aspen Discovery with ByWater Support. Walla Walla Public Library is an existing Koha partner with ByWater. A New Chapter for the British Library: Seamless Services with Alma and Primo. Founded in 1973, the British Library is the United Kingdom's national library and is one of the largest libraries in the world. Its collection features 170 million items, including books, journals, newspapers, patents, maps, prints, manuscripts and digital publications. In recent years, the Library set out on an ambitious journey: to modernise its library services platform and create a more seamless experience for users. San Francisco Public Library implements TIND Digital Archive. San Francisco Public Library has launched its updated digital collections platform on TIND Digital Archive. The migration from Islandora improves access to more than 50,000 digitized images and over 10 terabytes of data from the Main Library and 28 neighborhood branches, offering a cleaner interface and enhanced discovery for both the public and library staff. ByWater Solutions, America's forefront provider of Open Source library technology support, announced that the Lydia Taft Pratt Library has joined the Catamount Library Network in Vermont and is now live on the Koha ILS and Aspen Discovery with ByWater Support.
