PLOS Announces New Publishing Agreement with German Consortium. The Public Library of Science announced a consortium agreement with Technische Informationsbibliothek that allows member institutions to participate in PLOS' three innovative publishing models. This two-year agreement provides researchers affiliated with consortium members with unlimited publishing privileges in PLOS journals without them having to cover fees themselves. Technische Universität Berlin becomes first university in Germany to opt for Ex Libris Leganto course reading list tool. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Technische Universität (TU) Berlin has selected the Leganto course reading list solution to facilitate new methods of teaching and to increase support for distance learning. For a number of years, the university's library has been using the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution.
