EBSCO Information Services partners with ConTech 2019 to connect librarians and library students with new technologies. EBSCO Information Services and ConTech 2019 are partnering to ensure more librarians attend the event in December. EBSCO will sponsor the conference — a sponsorship that will include a submission process that will allow four librarians to attend for free as well as a 50 percent discount for all librarian attendees, along with two opportunities for library student bursaries. The University of Gloucestershire selects Talis Aspire as part of their digital strategy. The University of Gloucestershire have selected Talis Aspire to manage and deliver its online reading lists service and copyright management system. This decision was made as part of their wider digital strategy which will also include teaching and learning technologies such as Moodle. [Full Announcement].

Gloucester City Library Goes Live on ByWater Solutions Koha Support. ByWater Solutions announced that the Gloucester City Library, of Gloucester City, NJ. is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the migration of the library’s 50,000 plus holdings from Millennium and is providing ongoing support services to them. The library’s hosting services are provided by Jersey Connect, a program in the state that provides free hosting services to libraries utilizing an open source ILS. [Full Announcement].

The Camden County Library System goes live on Koha with ByWater Solutions. ByWater Solutions announced that the Camden County Library System, of Voorhees, NJ, is now live on Koha! ByWater Solutions completed the migration of the library system’s eight public libraries, one community college library, and 450,000 plus holdings from Millennium and is providing ongoing Koha support and hosting services to them. University of Gloucestershire selects OCLC WorldShare Management Services. The University of Gloucestershire has selected WorldShare Management Services (WMS) as its new library management system. [Full Announcement].

Auto-Graphics Selected to Continue to Provide JerseyCat Interlibrary Loan Services. The New Jersey State Library has signed an agreement with Auto-Graphics to continue to provide the interlibrary loan services that support the JerseyCat interlibrary loan system. This system provides New Jersey’s libraries with access to a broad range of materials through the JerseyCat portal and participating library websites, supplemented by access to collections nationwide. Libraries dive into AquaBrowser Library. In a very short time, AquaBrowser Library has intrigued libraries and schools throughout the country. Sixteen libraries and schools have purchased AquaBrowser Library in the past six months, including the recent purchase by Queens Borough Public Library in New York. [Full Announcement].

SIRSI Corporation. Gloucester County Library Selects Sirsi. Sirsi Corporation announced that the Gloucester County Library System (NJ), host for the GLO-NET consortium, has chosen the Sirsi suite of products and services to replace its existing Dynix system. [Full Announcement].

SIRSI Corporation. Sirsi connects Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary. Corporation announced that Colonial Williamsburg''s John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library has joined with the College of William and Mary libraries, to form the Williamsburg Research Libraries Partnership using Sirsi''s advanced technologies for research and academic libraries. Sirsi Corporation. New Jersey's GOLD Consortium digs SIRSI. The Gloucester County Online Database Consortium, a consortium of seven New Jersey libraries that serves 75,000 people, has chosen Sirsi Corporation''s Unicorn Library Management System to provide staff and users with a mature, highly flexible system. The Learning Resources Centre at Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education announce their selection of the Hyperion Digital Media Archive in conjunction with the Unicorn TM Library Management System [Full Announcement].
