Follett Follett Educational Foundation awards area students with scholarships. Nine high school students from two area high schools are receiving scholarships from the Follett Educational Foundation as part of two new scholarship programs for 2023 as approved by the Foundation's Board of Trustees. The scholarships are named in honor of the four sons of C.W. Follett, who took over management of Follett Corporation in 1918 and six years later purchased the company along with his wife, Edythe. All four sons worked for Follett Corp. and were integral in helping the world's largest education solutions provider evolve and grow in the ensuing decades. [Full Announcement].

Follett Follett Archives is now part of Loyola Archives and Special Collections. The Loyola Archives and Special Collections is the home of the Follett Archives. During the past year, Kathy Young, University Archivist and Curator of Rare Books, worked closely with Todd Litzsinger, CEO of Follett Corporation, Jean Follett, Historian, Loyola's Family Business Center, and Quinlan School of Business to bring the collection to Loyola. Follett Higher Education Follett Corporation, the parent of Follett Higher Education, acquired by private investor group. Follett Corporation announced the sale of its corporate entity as well as Follett Higher Education, the company's collegiate retail and Follett ACCESS business, to a group of private investors led by Jefferson River Capital LLC. a private investment company controlled by the James family. Follett Britten Follett Named to EBMA Board of Directors. Britten Follett, who leads Follett's PreK-12 business, has been named to the Educational Book & Media Association's (EBMA) board of directors. The Warrenton, Va.-based not-for-profit association is committed to developing better techniques and procedures for the sales, marketing, and distribution of print books and related media in the school and library markets. Follett Follett's PreK-12 businesses unite as Follett School Solutions, Inc.. Follett's PreK-12 businesses will become one legal entity named Follett School Solutions, Inc., effective April 1. The new entity is part of Follett's strategy to deliver increased value to customers by integrating and leveraging the content and technology capabilities of its previously separate businesses: Follett Educational Services, Follett Library Resources and Follett Software Company. Follett Follett Corporation names Todd Litzsinger chairman of the board. Follett Corporation today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has named Todd Litzsinger Chairman of the Board, effective immediately. Litzsinger succeeds Steve Waichler, who held the role on an interim basis following the passing of Follett’s former Chairman, Alison O’Hara, in July of 2013. [Full Announcement].

Follett Follett Pre-K12 Businesses unify to offer educators more integrated education solutions. Follett is re-aligning its businesses to provide one point of contact for administrators, IT professionals, librarians, curriculum coordinators and teachers. The following Follett businesses have become one Pre-K12 business, called Follett School Solutions: Follett Educational Services (buying and selling pre-owned textbooks and classroom resources); Follett Library Resources (connecting librarians with 12 million print and electronic titles through Titlewave); Follett Software Company (offering library and asset management software, as well as a student information and learning management system); and Follett International, (selling Follett’s Pre-K12 products and services overseas). Follett Follett's Destiny 11.0 release heightens support of digital learning. Follett announced the release of Destiny 11.0 with significant improvements to help create an interactive, digital learning environment with Follett eBooks, as well as continue to dramatically drive library efficiency. A key feature of Destiny 11.0 addresses the improvements Follett made to its capabilities for using eBooks and mobile devices to support digital learning, including a Destiny Quest mobile app for Kindle Fire devices to further support the 21st century learner. Follett Tom Schenck named President and Chief Operating Officer of Follett School and Library Business. Follett Corporation named Tom Schenck to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of the recently formed Follett School and Library Group (FSLG), effective earlier this year. Reporting to Follett Corporation President and CEO Chuck Follett, Schenck is responsible for a group of businesses serving over 60,000 primary and secondary education customers in the domestic and international markets. Follett Follett's Latest Destiny Release Includes Free eBooks. School districts that upgrade to Destiny Library Manager Version 8.5 can get 65 free eBooks per school. The new release of the Destiny Resource Management Solution also features a number of other attractive benefits, such as the ability of Textbook Manager customers to get reports showing them how much money they can save by purchasing used textbooks or selling excess textbook inventories. Follett Follett announces new business groups and presidents. As part of a corporate reorganization, Follett Corporation today announced that Chuck Follett was named president of the newly-formed Follett Technology Solutions and International Group and Bob Mallo was named president of the newly-formed Follett Educational Distribution Group.
