LexisNexis Risk Solutions Cirium launches first phase of satellite-based aircraft maintenance tracking. Cirium has revealed today the aviation industry's first satellite-based aircraft maintenance tracking feature in its Ascend Profiles module. The first phase of the new Ground Events feature captures all instances when aircraft spend over seven days on the ground and identifies the aircraft registration, airport, arrival date and time, departure date and time, ground event duration and aircraft age. For specific airlines the feature showcases the types of maintenance activity and the provider. [Full Announcement].

Clarivate Clarivate Annual G20 Scorecard Report Reveals Insights into World's Leading Research Economies. Clarivate launched its annual report which examines the research performance of each of the members of the G20 with a visual comparative snapshot for each. The report, The Annual G20 Scorecard Research Performance 2022, has been created by the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate to coincide with this year's G20 Summit hosted by Bali. It includes both a written summary and an array of graphs and exhibits that highlight the research performance of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mainland China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. Clarivate Clarivate names world's influential researchers with Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list. Clarivate revealed its 2022 list of Highly Cited Researchers: individuals at universities, research institutes and commercial organizations who have demonstrated a disproportionate level of significant and broad influence in their field or fields of research. The methodology draws on data from the Web of Science citation index, together with analysis performed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate. ISI analysts have awarded Highly Cited Researcher 2022 designations to 6,938 researchers from across the globe who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields over the last decade. The list is truly global, spanning 69 countries or regions and spread across a diverse range of research fields in the sciences and social sciences. [Full Announcement].

World Wide Web Consortium W3C to become a public-interest non-profit organization. The World Wide Web Consortium is set to pursue 501(c)(3) non-profit status. The launch as a new legal entity in January 2023 preserves the core mission of the Consortium to shepherd the web by developing open standards with contributions from W3C Members, staff, and the international community. Axiell Axiell announces agreement to acquire Infor Library and Information Solutions business and expand global presence. Recorded Books RBmedia and Asmodee Partner to Bring Aconyte's Novels to Audio. RBmedia, the largest audiobook producer in the world, today announced an exclusive partnership with international games company Asmodee, through its publishing arm Aconyte Books. National Institute of Informatics Renewal of Academic Information System After 36 Years New Catalog Information Service Corresponding to Digital Resources to Be Introduced from 2022. National Institute of Informatics (NII; Director General: Dr. KITSUREGAWA Masaru, Tokyo, Japan) has begun reconstruction of NACSIS-CAT/ILL, a catalog information service used by more than 1,300 institutions, mainly university libraries. Kinokuniya Company. NII and Kinokuniya to build a New NACSIS-CAT/ILL System for Digitization of Academic Resources and Provision of World Class Service. Kinokuniya Company was appointed to undertake the project commissioned by National Institute of Informatics Provision of Catalog Information Service and Electronic Resource Management System. NACSIS-CAT/ILL, the catalog information service operated by NII, is currently used by more than 1,300 institutions, mainly university libraries, as a union catalog database comprehensively covering Japanese academic resources. Through the reconstruction and enhancement of NACSIS-CAT/ILL by the cooperation of domestic and international system vendors, Kinokuniya contributes to establishing the academic research infrastructure in Japan which willadvance the digitization of academic resources and the provision of world class service. ProQuest France's Le Monde Newspaper Archive will be available to academic and public Libraries through ProQuest. Researchers will soon have a new and invaluable resource for exploring the history and culture of France from 1944 to 2000. The historical archive of Le Monde considered one of the newspapers of record for France and one of the best-known and most influential publications in the world will be available in full-page digital image format to academic and public libraries through ProQuest in March 2021.
