Brill Brill's 2022 results affected by potential administration of its main distributor. Brill's main distributor, Turpin, has informed Brill that it has filed a notice of intent to appoint an administrator. Turpin provides fulfilment services to part of Brill's journal and book portfolio. On 30th August Brill announced a transition to new partners for its worldwide distribution of books and journals during 2023. An administration of the current distributor is expected to result in disruptions to ongoing print book sales and delays to the 2023 journals renewal season. This would particularly impact the important Q4 period and Q1 2023, until alternatives have been put in place. [Full Announcement].

Lyngsoe Systems Lyngsoe Systems announces User Group. Following consultation with customers, Lyngsoe Systems announces the launch of a User Group for the Library Business Unit. Staff from any library that uses any of Lyngsoe Systems (now including PV Supa and 2CQR) products or services will be able to join the group and participate in events and meetings of the group. The launch of the group includes access to a group platform where customers will be able to share their experience of working with Lyngsoe products and services with each other and with Lyngsoe Systems. Ingram Micro and HNA Group announced that they have completed the previously announced transaction, under which Tianjin Tianhai Investment Company, Ltd., a publicly-traded subsidiary of HNA Group, acquired Ingram Micro for $38.90 per share in an all-cash transaction with an equity value of approximately $6 billion.
