OCLC Québec universities now using OCLC's WorldShare Management Services to share, search BCI library collections. Québec university libraries that are grouped together within the library Subcommittee of the Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire (BCI) are now managing, sharing and searching their collections through a single union catalog built on OCLC's WorldShare Management Services library services platform. Les bibliothèques universitaires du Québec regroupées au sein du sous-comité des bibliothèques du Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire (BCI) gèrent, partagent et dorénavant donnent accès à leurs collections par le biais d'un catalogue collectif hébergé sur la plateforme de services de gestion de bibliothèques WorldShare d'OCLC. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Bibliotheque interuniversitaire de la Sorbonne selects Innovative Sierra. Innovative, a ProQuest company and leading global provider of library software announced that the Sorbonne Interuniversity Library, which serves multiple universities in Paris, has chosen to migrate to the Sierra library services platform (LSP). OCLC BCI selects OCLC's WorldShare Management Services as its shared service platform for Québec university library partnership. The Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire (BCI), a coalition of Québec universities, has selected OCLC's WorldShare Management Services as the library services platform for 17 of its members. Ex Libris Ex Libris welcomes eight French libraries to the Alma community. Ex Libris announced that the Ex Libris Alma library services platform has won a place in the French national Système de gestion de bibliothèque mutualisé library management system framework agreement. The competitive process for the framework and the tenders awarded under it are managed by the Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur (ABES), the French agency that provides bibliographic services to over 60 percent of French higher education institutions. Ex Libris Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de Montpellier Joins the Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées to become the first French library network to choose Ex Libris Alma and Primo. Ex Libris announced that the Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de Montpellier (BIU, or Interuniversity Library of Montpellier) has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and the Primo discovery and delivery solution to optimize library management and discovery. Alma and Primo will replace the Aleph integrated library system. [Full Announcement].
