Science Europe. cOAlition S: Making Open Access a Reality by 2020. 1 national research funding organisation, with the support of the European Commission including the European Research Council (ERC), are announcing the launch of cOAlition S, an initiative to make full and immediate Open Access to research publications a reality. It is built around Plan S, which was announced at ESOF in Toulouse in July 2018. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Ex Libris welcomes eight French libraries to the Alma community. Ex Libris announced that the Ex Libris Alma library services platform has won a place in the French national Système de gestion de bibliothèque mutualisé library management system framework agreement. The competitive process for the framework and the tenders awarded under it are managed by the Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur (ABES), the French agency that provides bibliographic services to over 60 percent of French higher education institutions. Ex Libris Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de Montpellier Joins the Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées to become the first French library network to choose Ex Libris Alma and Primo. Ex Libris announced that the Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de Montpellier (BIU, or Interuniversity Library of Montpellier) has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and the Primo discovery and delivery solution to optimize library management and discovery. Alma and Primo will replace the Aleph integrated library system. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées Chooses Ex Libris Alma and Primo. Ex Libris announced that the Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution to manage and expose its expanding collections. The Ex Libris solutions will replace the SirsiDynix Horizon integrated library system, in use since 1995. [Full Announcement].

Airbus has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of the Navtech group of companies, a leading global provider of flight operations solutions. Data Research Associates, Inc.. City of Toulouse in France selects DRA Taos. The City of Toulouse in France selects DRA Taos as the base for a wide regional consortium. The City''s project includes the research library with its historical collections, the public library and its twenty branches, the Regional School of Music and the Museum of Modern Art. Eventually, The Museum of Natural History and other institutions such as the School of Fine Arts will join the network.
