ByWater Solutions ByWater Solutions announces support of Aspen Discovery for SEFLIN. ByWater Solutions announced that they are providing support and hosting services for the Aspen Open Source Discovery system for the Southeast Florida Library Information Network (SEFLIN) in Florida. The four libraries that went live on Aspen Discovery are the Boynton Beach City Library, the Delray Beach Public Library, the Lake Park Public Library, and the Palm Springs Public Library. OCLC A collective responsibility to protect the unparalleled value of WorldCat. Update: On June 27, 2022, a judge in the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, ruled in favor of OCLC's request for a temporary restraining order. We're pleased that this ruling will at least temporarily stop Clarivate and the other defendants from engaging in the type of conduct outlined in the Court's Order. We will continue to work in the best interests of our member libraries and the community at large to vigorously protect the work and investments we've made in WorldCat for over 50 years. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Vega Discover launches consortia support for Polaris and Sierra. Library consortia using the Polaris or Sierra ILS now have additional features unique to consortia organizations when implementing Vega Discover as their discovery layer. Announced at IUG 2022, the first phase of Vega Discover for Consortia enables consortium members to create separate Vega Discover catalogs with unique URLs and custom branding. In addition, the central office can now set up eContent accounts for the main site and share that eContent with all members. Patron Point Patron Point appoints Brenna Hill as Library Relations Manager. Patron Point announced that Brenna Hill has joined the organization as Library Relations Manager. Hill comes to the Company with customer service, account management, and marketing experience, most recently from THE MAX Challenge where she served as Franchise Marketing Coordinator for their corporate office. There she headed the franchise sales program, presented marketing webinars, coached existing franchisees on their marketing content, and created content for all MAX Challenge franchisees including email, social media, print, and written. EveryLibrary EveryLibrary launches Banned Book Store, Internet's most comprehensive store of banned books. EveryLibrary, the 501C4 political action committee dedicated to building voter support for libraries, has announced the launch of their Banned Book Store at The Banned Book Store is the most comprehensive store of currently banned and challenged books in the United States.
