Columbia University adds three libraries to their Aeon installation. Columbia University has added three new libraries to their Rare Books and Manuscripts Library installation of Aeon. The Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library, Burke Library at Union Theological Seminary, and C.V. ILLiad user records will now be searched and created for borrower requests from Alma. Ex Libris has announced greater integration between Alma and ILLiad in their upcoming release scheduled for July 2021. For sites using Alma to push borrower requests into ILLiad, It will now be possible to configure the resource sharing partner record in Alma to search ILLiad user records, create user records in ILLiad when none exist, and push patron information into ILLiad in real-time when the user record is matched. Atlas Systems and OCLC deliver enhanced access to digital collections through CONTENTdm and Aeon integration. Atlas Systems and OCLC today announced the integration of the CONTENTdm Digital Collection Management Software and Atlas System's Aeon software for managing special collections user services. The integration enables end users of CONTENTdm collections to place an online request to view the original item in a library’s special collections reading room or order publication-quality reproductions via Aeon, paying any usage fees online with a credit card. Atlas Systems and Compendium Library Services Partner to deliver reference management capabilities to special collections and archives. Atlas Systems announced an addon that integrates the reference request management functions of Compendium's Knowledge Tracker software with Atlas Systems’ Aeon special collections management software. The add-on automatically links reference requests in Knowledge Tracker with user records and paging requests in Aeon.
