Yewno, a leading global provider of artificial intelligence solutions, today announces that the University of Edinburgh has adopted their Yewno Discover platform. Gale, part of a Cengage Group, has expanded Gale Digital Scholar Lab with new and improved features that provide digital humanities (DH) researchers with a better user experience. The Catalyst Koha team is excited to announce that Auckland University of Technology has officially gone live with the Koha Library Management System. Index Data Spokane (Washington) Public Library Adopts the FOLIO Platform. Spokane (Washington) Public Library became the first public library in North America to use the FOLIO Library Services Platform. The library uses Index Data to host and support the open source platform for its six branches and community of 210,000 residents. Averaging over two million circulations per year, it is among the largest installations of FOLIO to date. [Full Announcement].

Talis Langara College Joins Talis Aspire Resource List Management Solution (RLMS) Community to streamline copyright workflows and improve student success. The Talis Aspire community in Canada continues to grow, as Langara College joins the University of Alberta, Capilano University, MacEwan University, and Okanagan College in benefitting from the platform-neutral Resource List Management Solution. ByWater Solutions First Nations Information Connection Libraries Go Live on Koha with ByWater Support. ByWater Solutions, America's forefront provider of Open Source library technology support, announced that First Nations Information Connection Libraries in Alberta, Canada is now live on Koha ILS with ByWater Support. ByWater Solutions completed the migration of 57,000 plus bibliographic records from Symphony ILS with SirsiDynix. [Full Announcement].

FOLIO FOLIO Library Services Platform Launches Kiwi Release. The FOLIO Open Source Community has issued its latest named release as the platform continues to add features and functionality to the library services platform (LSP). The Kiwi Release includes platform updates and integration improvements in addition to user experience (UX) improvements and features. The Kiwi Release offers platform enhancements that provide librarians with a more efficient user experience in the FOLIO platform. These enhancements include updates made to cataloging where libraries can now manage MARC holdings in FOLIO. Improvements to acquisitions provide the LSP with even more flexibility when creating new orders via GOBI®. The Kiwi Release also made improvements to circulation by providing improved logging related to patron notice processing as to capture all errors and add them to circulation log. Ubiquity Press University of North Alabama Upgrades Its Institutional Repository with Ubiquity Repositories. The end of 2021 saw the launch of University of North Alabama's Repository of Open Access Research (RoOAR) powered by Ubiquity Repositories. The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) today announced that Dr. Patricia Brennan, Director of the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) will be the recipient of the 2022 Miles Conrad Award, a lifetime achievement award for those working in the information community. Wiley Wiley and Carnegie Mellon University Sign Agreement to Make Research More Widely Accessible. Global research and education leader Wiley today announced a three-year open access agreement with Carnegie Mellon University, a renowned research university in the United States. The agreement will enable Carnegie Mellon's researchers the ability to publish all accepted articles open access in Wiley's journals, meaning that they are freely available to read and share upon publication. This agreement marks a critical step in the university's open access journey, expanding the reach of the research published by its distinguished faculty, most notably including forward-looking fields of study such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation. Griffith University, in Australia, has selected OCLC's WorldShare Management Services as their new library management system to integrate workflows and increase visibility and access to resources. EBSCO Information Services GOBI Library Solutions from EBSCO now offers manchesterhive from Manchester University Press. GOBI Library Solutions from EBSCOnow supports the Manchester University Press  e-book platform, manchesterhive. With the addition of the manchesterhive platform, libraries will gain access to more than 2,000 DRM-free title-by-title e-books and nine eCollections through GOBI. Clarivate Clarivate announces change in executive leadership. Clarivate announced a change to our executive leadership team. Clarivate Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Richard Hanks is leaving the company and will be succeeded by Jonathan Collins, who is currently Executive Vice President and CFO of Dana Incorporated. Collins will be joining Clarivate effective Dec. 16 as Executive Vice President and CFO. Hanks will remain with Clarivate until April 1 to support the CFO transition. [Full Announcement].

EBSCO Information Services Jorge Tadeo Lozano University to adopt the FOLIO LSP. Jorge Tadeo Lozano University (UTadeo) has become the first library in Colombia to choose FOLIO as its Library Services Platform (LSP). The university will use EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) for implementation and hosting services via EBSCO FOLIO. UTadeo has begun implementation and has plans to go fully live on FOLIO in May 2022. [Full Announcement].

LibLynx LibLynx integrates with to simplify access control for De Gruyter. LibLynx has integrated data from into its Identity & Access solution to enable publishers to automatically maintain registered IP addresses. The enhanced service launched on the new De Gruyter publishing platform in October 2021. [Full Announcement].
