The Los Angeles Public Library has selected Patron Point to help enhance the marketing and promotion of its services and programs, allowing it to connect directly with an ever-expanding list of more 500,000 patrons who have signed up to receive digital communications from the library. Los Angeles Public Library selects CapiraCurbside to facilitate reopenings of its locations. CapiraCurbside, a web based, mobile friendly platform curbside library reservation platform, will help facilitate the reopening at 50 locations of the Los Angeles Public Library. LAPL is among the latest libraries to sign on to use the curbside platform. Since its launch on June 1, CapiraCurbside has added over 300 individual library customers, with more than 250,000 reservations created in its first two months of operation. [Full Announcement].

CARL.Connect expands to the Los Angeles Public Library and the Metropolitan Library System. The Library Corporation has announced that the Los Angeles Public Library and the Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma City have purchased CARL.Connect, TLC’s newest integrated library systems product. These libraries will join the Monroe County Library System in New York and the Contra Costa County Library in California, who have implemented CARL.Connect for providing a flexible, platform independent solution to their staff functions.
