Solus North America’s largest library consortium selects the Solus Library App. Solus announced that the Illinois Heartland Library System automation group SHARE selected the Solus mobile Library App, based on recommendations from the SHARE Executive Council, E-Resources Committee, Finance & Policy Committee, and SHARE members. Polaris Library Systems. Largest Consortium in North America goes live on Polaris. Polaris Library Systems, a trusted provider of technology solutions that help public, private and academic librarians serve their communities, has implemented the largest automation consortium in North America. Illinois Heartland Library System selected the Polaris Library System as its new automation system in June of 2012; accounting for 427 libraries that cover 28,141 square miles and serves a population of 2.24 million community members. Illinois Heartland Library System. IHLS LLSAP Working Group announces RFI Finalists. The Illinois Heartland Library System LLSAP Working Group, after a month of discussion and evaluation, announces two top finalists for the Request for Information (RFI) for a replacement automation product.
