The Library Corporation Medaille College Returns to the TLC Family. Students are not the only ones returning home this summer, as Medaille College returns to The Library Corporation for the first time since 2008. OurResearch. Open Science nonprofit OurResearch receives $4.5M grant from Arcadia Fund. OurResearch, a nonprofit seeking to speed the global adoption of Open Science, announced that it had been awarded a new 3-year, $4.5M (USD) grant from the UK-based Arcadia, a charitable fund of Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin. The grant, which follows an 2018 award for $850,000, will help expand two existing open-source software projects, as well as support the launch of two new ones: [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Ex Libris Rapido platform goes live with first four customers. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the first four implementations of the Rapido resource sharing platform have now gone live. The development of the Rapido platform began in late 2019, when Ex Libris teamed up with a group of early adopters and development partners in the United States, Europe, and Australia. This collaboration afforded Ex Libris an opportunity to hear customers' voices and create a solution tailored to the needs of resource-sharing institutions. [Full Announcement].

Auto-Graphics, Inc. AGent Information Software (AIFS) Publishes 2021 First Quarter Financials. AGent Information Software, the parent company of Auto-Graphics, Inc. (A-G), released first quarter 2021 financials. AIFS reported a net income of $120,398, a $40,000 increase from the same period in 2020. Continued growth of the recurring revenue base resulted in an increase from 2020 to $1,290,874. This growth is entirely in the company's library division, as it has terminated their publishing business to focus on their library sector. AIFS reported EPS of $0.03 on weighted average shares outstanding of 4,484,577. Cash flow continued to be strong into the first quarter of 2021. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Sutherland Shire Council Libraries first in Australia to select Vega Library Experience (LX) Suite. Innovative announced that Sutherland Shire Council's libraries are the first library system in Australia to select Vega Discover with Vega Connect, and join the Discover Early Access partner program. Sutherland Shire Council operates eight libraries, serving a community of approximately 230,000 people in the south of Sydney, New South Wales. [Full Announcement].

Clarivate Clarivate announces proposed offerings of Ordinary Shares and Convertible Preferred Shares. Clarivate announced that it has commenced concurrent proposed offerings of $750 million of ordinary shares, alongside which certain existing shareholders intend to offer $250 million of ordinary shares (the "Ordinary Share Offering"), and $1.25 billion of Series A Mandatory Convertible preferred shares. Neither the completion of the Ordinary Share Offering nor the Convertible Preferred Share Offering is contingent upon completion of the other. The Offerings are both subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when either Offering may be completed, if at all, or as to the actual size or terms of either Offering. Clarivate intends to use the net proceeds from the Offerings to finance a portion of the purchase price for its pending acquisition of ProQuest, announced on May 17, 2021. None of the Offerings is conditioned on consummation of the ProQuest acquisition. If the ProQuest acquisition is not consummated, Clarivate intends to use the net proceeds received by it from the Offerings for general corporate purposes. [Full Announcement].
