SirsiDynix Surrey County Council joins The Libraries Consortium. SirsiDynix announced that Surrey County Council is the latest member to join The Libraries Consortium (TLC), a rapidly expanding network of public library authorities in the UK, sharing technology, stock and expertise to increase impact at reduced cost. Talis Delft University of Technology becomes the first university in The Netherlands to adopt Talis Aspire. Delft University of Technology has adopted Talis Aspire in order to better support the student experience and drive efficiencies within the library. They will be making use of online reading list management along with Talis Aspire's Management Information (MI) Dashboards, in order to gain better insight into list coverage and usage analytics. BiblioCommons Nine new library partnerships formed in the first quarter of 2021. In the first three months of 2021, BiblioCommons formed new partnerships with public libraries across the United States. Newly subscribed libraries include Canton Public Library, Chandler Public Library, East Chicago Public Library, Elk Grove Village Public Library, Glendale Library, Arts & Culture, Herrick District Library, Kenton County Public Library, Strathcona County Library Board, and Tulsa City-County Library. These libraries are all on different ILSs (Integrated Library Systems.) OCLC Instituto Superior para el Desarrollo de Internet now using OCLC’s WorldShare Management Services. The Instituto Superior para el Desarrollo de Internet (ISDI), a school based in Spain that provides training for professionals and entrepreneurs in digital business, is now using OCLC's WorldShare Management Services as its library services platform. Coherent Digital Sabinet and Coherent Digital partner to make African voices heard. Sabinet and Coherent Digital signed an agreement to build and distribute electronic library databases focused on Africa. Sabinet is the largest vendor of African content to libraries. Founded in 1983, as a collaboration of South African universities and libraries, Sabinet offers the largest database of Pan-African journals, the most complete collection of South African legal, union, and government information, as well as unique African library resources in reference, news, and archives. Patron Point Los Angeles Public Library (CA) implements Patron Point. Patron Point announced that Los Angeles Public Library has chosen its patron engagement platform to support the Library's strategic plan marketing efforts. The Los Angeles Public Library has selected Patron Point to help enhance the marketing and promotion of its services and programs, allowing it to connect directly with an ever-expanding list of more 500,000 patrons who have signed up to receive digital communications from the library. Follett is introducing a flexible and affordable, short-term eBook solution, ideal for schools seeking a digital counterpart to their classroom novels. Auto-Graphics, Inc. AGent Information Software (AIFS) Publishes 2020 Audited Financials. AGent Information Software (AIFS), the parent company of Auto-Graphics, Inc. (A-G), released 2020 year-end financials. In the year ending December 31, 2020, AIFS continued strengthening its financial position, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. AIFS reported a net income of $408,667, with EBITDA representing 21% of sales at year-end. Continued growth of the company's recurring revenue base saw an increase from $5,030,056 in 2019 to $5,222,595 in 2020. AIFS reported EPS of $0.09 on weighted average shares outstanding $4,484,577. ProQuest JSTOR Ebooks now available in the Rialto and OASIS Marketplaces. Librarians can now acquire titles from JSTOR's collection of more than 100,000 ebooks from more than 275 academic publishers through the Rialto and OASIS marketplaces. JSTOR's unlimited, digital rights management (DRM)-free access model and integration with journals and primary sources creates an easy and familiar user experience for researchers around the world. La Red de Bibliotecas de Extremadura ha implementado en su catálogo colectivo el nuevo diseño de AbsysNet para hacerlo visualmente más atractivo y funcional. La renovación del catálogo está basada, en gran parte, en lo que será el opac multidispositivo de AbsysNet 2.3, por lo que esta evolución convierte al catálogo en responsive. Gale Group Gale helps North Bend School District bring mental health and wellness resources to students. With additional pressure being placed on students due to the pandemic and other stressors, Gale, a Cengage company, is helping the North Bend School District 13 (NBSD) support mental health and wellness. Located in North Bend, Oregon, the district is using Cameron's Collection and Cameron's Camp for Wellness on the Gale eBooks platform to help students better understand their mental health and provide guidance to strengthen their social and emotional learning (SEL) skills.
