ProQuest JSTOR Ebooks now available in the Rialto and OASIS Marketplaces. Librarians can now acquire titles from JSTOR's collection of more than 100,000 ebooks from more than 275 academic publishers through the Rialto and OASIS marketplaces. JSTOR's unlimited, digital rights management (DRM)-free access model and integration with journals and primary sources creates an easy and familiar user experience for researchers around the world. ProQuest ProQuest, NYU Pilot Program offers students and faculty instant access to 150,000 Ebooks via app. New York University (NYU) Libraries and EdTech leader ProQuest have launched a pilot project that will make over 150,000 scholarly titles available to students and faculty via their mobile devices. NYU users can access coursebooks, ebooks, and reference works from major publishers through an e-reader app called SimplyE. [Full Announcement].

Project ReShare. Project ReShare membership expands with addition of Auraria Library, Stanford University Libraries, and the Western North Carolina Library Network. Project ReShare announced three new members that increase the diversity of the project, both in types of organizations and geography -- Auraria Library, Stanford University Libraries, and the Western North Carolina Library Network. Follett Baker & Taylor's Aman Kochar named Top Global Leader In EdTech awards. Amandeep Kochar, executive vice president and general manager of Baker & Taylor, has been named winner of the “Global Leader” category in the 2021 EdTech Awards by EdTech Digest. EBSCO Information Services Two Tennessee Universities Adopt the FOLIO Library Services Platform using EBSCO FOLIO. The University of Tennessee at Martin (UT Martin) and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) will be transitioning to the FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP) using EBSCO FOLIO hosting and implementation services from EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO). Both universities will be fully live with FOLIO by summer 2021. [Full Announcement].

EBSCO Information Services Chile’s University of Concepcion’s FOLIO Library Services Platform Migration is underway. University of Concepcion is the first library in Chile to choose FOLIO as its Library Services Platform and will use EBSCO Information Services for implementation and hosting services. UdeC has started with the implementation of the FOLIO ERM and will go live with the full FOLIO LSP in June 2021. [Full Announcement].

NISO NISO announces invigorated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) today announced two important actions to support increased diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in its work and its community. First, following Board approval of the NISO DEI Policy in January, a full DEI Committee has now been formed, led by NISO Board member Maria Stanton, who is Director of Production at Atla. Second, later this year, NISO will be hosting a workshop on DEI and standards, organized by the Committee, to help identify and prioritize key areas of opportunity and development. OCLC OCLC to convene a diverse group to Reimagine Descriptive Workflows in libraries, archives. OCLC has been awarded a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to convene a diverse group of experts, practitioners, and community members to determine ways to improve descriptive practices, tools, infrastructure and workflows in libraries and archives. ProQuest Maynooth University, one of Ireland’s fastest-growing institutions, Joins ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Collection. Maynooth University, also known as The National University of Ireland Maynooth, is one of the first Irish institutions to include its graduate research in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database, the largest curated collection of theses and dissertations in the world. The ProQuest database will include more than 1,200 full-text PhD and Master's theses and dissertations from Maynooth University, as well as future graduate research submitted at Maynooth on an ongoing basis. These works will be accessible by PQDT users globally and will be broadly discoverable via citations in major subject indexes and Google Scholar, giving Maynooth's authors greater visibility and recognition for their research outputs. Westchester Academic Library Directors Organization has signed an agreement to work with Coherent Digital LLC, a new publishing company created with the mission to “tame wild content and make it useful.” WALDO will offer its member libraries all of Coherent Digital's resources through special promotions—including Mindscape Commons and Policy Commons.
