AGent Information Software (AIFS) Publishes 2020 Audited Financials. AGent Information Software (AIFS), the parent company of Auto-Graphics, Inc. (A-G), released 2020 year-end financials. In the year ending December 31, 2020, AIFS continued strengthening its financial position, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. AIFS reported a net income of $408,667, with EBITDA representing 21% of sales at year-end. Continued growth of the company's recurring revenue base saw an increase from $5,030,056 in 2019 to $5,222,595 in 2020. AIFS reported EPS of $0.09 on weighted average shares outstanding $4,484,577. La Red de Bibliotecas de Extremadura renueva su catálogo colectivo incorporando el nuevo mOpac de AbsysNet. La Red de Bibliotecas de Extremadura ha implementado en su catálogo colectivo el nuevo diseño de AbsysNet para hacerlo visualmente más atractivo y funcional. La renovación del catálogo está basada, en gran parte, en lo que será el opac multidispositivo de AbsysNet 2.3, por lo que esta evolución convierte al catálogo en responsive. ProQuest, NYU Pilot Program offers students and faculty instant access to 150,000 Ebooks via app. New York University (NYU) Libraries and EdTech leader ProQuest have launched a pilot project that will make over 150,000 scholarly titles available to students and faculty via their mobile devices. Chile’s University of Concepcion’s FOLIO Library Services Platform Migration is underway. University of Concepcion is the first library in Chile to choose FOLIO as its Library Services Platform and will use EBSCO Information Services for implementation and hosting services. UdeC has started with the implementation of the FOLIO ERM and will go live with the full FOLIO LSP in June 2021. [Full Announcement].
NISO announces invigorated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) today announced two important actions to support increased diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in its work and its community. First, following Board approval of the NISO DEI Policy in January, a full DEI Committee has now been formed, led by NISO Board member Maria Stanton, who is Director of Production at Atla. San Diego County Library. San Diego County Library selects Polaris, BiblioCommons for launch of new ILS and website. San Diego County Library (SDCL) selected BiblioCommons and Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS) to provide enterprise solutions that will facilitate and improve operations at its 33 branches. Polaris ILS will serve as the foundation for several technology enhancements at SDCL in 2021. Project ReShare. Project ReShare Welcomes LOUIS and MOBIUS. LOUIS is a consortium of public and private college and university libraries in the state of Louisiana, currently consisting of 47 members. LOUIS provides cost-effective collaboration for the procurement and support of library technology and resources. Twenty-two member institutions participate in LOUIS' interlibrary loan platform.
