Ex Libris University of Crete Library chooses SFX for creating an integrated digital environment. The University of Crete has selected the SFX link resolver from Ex Libris to assist students and staff in accessing and navigating the rich collection of electronic resources held by the University library. The SFX system will be a key component in the management of the University's digital library of dissertations, periodicals, and digitized rare documents. Ex Libris ILCSO selects SFX for Its 65 Libraries. Ex Libris announced that the Illinois Library Computer Systems Organization has selected SFX to be the consortium’s link resolver. ILCSO is comprised of 65 libraries, which include 31 universities, 17 colleges, 10 community colleges, and 7 seminary or special libraries. ILCSO’s site license will cover all 65 ILCSO libraries, which will have the option of running SFX centrally on the ILCSO server or installing it locally. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris announced that El Colegio de Mexico is the first institution to acquire the recently released SFX eXpress subscription service. Ex Libris Google Scholar and SFX. Ex Libris announced the immediate availability of a new set of tools to enable Google Scholar to display OpenURL links to SFX. With these tools, institutions with an SFX link server can register with Google Scholar to have their SFX links displayed in Google Scholar search results. Once registered, the institutions'' electronic library holdings are made available to Google Scholar so that the Google Scholar search results will clearly indicate when electronic full text is available.
