ReShare Community Orbis Cascade Alliance joins Project ReShare Community. The Orbis Cascade Alliance has joined Project ReShare as a Champion Consortium and contribute to Project ReShare's goal of creating an open source, community-owned, library resource sharing platform. The ReShare community's emphasis on collaborative development of tools that meet the functional needs of both library workers and library users aligns with the Alliance's values and vision for the future. ReShare Community MOBIUS to implement ReShare Returnables for Resource Sharing. MOBIUS has announced that it will be implementing ReShare Returnables as its new resource sharing system, joining PALCI, ConnectNY, and the Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation who all have launched ReShare Returnables in recent months. The MOBIUS implementation will coincide with its launch of EBSCO FOLIO from EBSCO Information Services as its new library services platform. The MOBIUS migration, from Innovative's INN-Reach and Sierra to ReShare Returnables and FOLIO, will begin in late 2022 with plans to be fully operational by the spring of 2024. Knowledge Integration will be leading the development of ReShare Returnables with MOBIUS. [Full Announcement].

Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation IPLC launches new resource sharing software. Beginning in the summer of 2022, the Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation (IPLC), a partnership of 13 academic research libraries, will launch ReShare Returnables, a new resource sharing software offering enhanced inter-library open sharing capabilities. IPLC has contracted with Index Data, a library software developer and service provider, to implement ReShare Returnables as part of its commitment to advancing library resource sharing systems. ReShare Returnables is the premier product of Project ReShare, a community of libraries, consortia, software developers, and open source advocates. Project ReShare is modeling mutual investment in open collaboration intended to break down the barriers and silos associated with commercial platforms and replace them with an inclusive, community-owned ecosystem. Index Data PALCI and ConnectNY libraries now live on ReShare hosted by Index Data. Earlier this month, library patrons of both the PALCI consortium and ConnectNY started using ReShare Shared Inventory and ReShare Returnables to request the delivery of books between campuses. PALCI was the first consortium to go live and use these next-generation apps to expedite the movement of items between libraries—effectively broadening the base of knowledge available to these students, faculty, and staff. Index Data is providing hosting and implementation support for both the PALCI and ConnectNY ReShare installations. [Full Announcement].

Index Data PALCI and ConnectNY partner with Index Data to adopt ReShare. Index Data is pleased to announce that the PALCI consortium and ConnectNY (CNY) will adopt ReShare to support their consortial resource sharing programs.
