Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing platform takes off in Australia. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Bond University, in Queensland, Australia, has gone live with the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing platform. The university decided to adopt the Rapido platform to handle an increased demand for interlibrary loans (ILLs) while lowering costs. The free Rapido reciprocal lending model provides significant savings for libraries, like Bond's, that had previously been using a “pay-per-loan” system for both print and document delivery. Ex Libris Ithaca College Is the first institution in the United States to go live with the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing platform. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Ithaca College is the first institution in the United States to go live with the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing platform. Ex Libris UNC Charlotte joins the Ex Libris Rapido early adopter program to transform library services. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the University of North Carolina Charlotte has joined the early adopter program of the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing solution. As a founding member of the Rapido early adopter program, UNC Charlotte's J. Murrey Atkins Library will help shape the way in which the Rapido solution evolves and interoperates with the library ecosystem. Ex Libris SLSP, the largest Swiss Library Network serving hundreds of libraries, selects Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing solution. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the Swiss Library Service Platform has signed an agreement to join the early adopter program for the Ex Libris Rapido resource sharing solution. A national library network for Swiss universities and research institutions, SLSP is scheduled to go live in 2021 and is the first Rapido network in Europe.
