Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Mobile Worklists 4.6 introduces RFID scanning. Innovative, part of Clarivate, announced the release of Mobile Worklists 4.6, the iOS and Android staff mobile app for Sierra libraries. The latest version of Mobile Worklists introduces support for using a mobile device to scan RFID tags with the device's Near-Field Communication (NFC) feature. This means that libraries can use mobile devices to scan RFID tags on library items as an alternative to scanning barcodes with the device camera. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Innovative Announces Mobile Worklists 4.0 Available for Android. Innovative, a ProQuest company and leading global provider of library software, announced that Mobile Worklists 4.0 for Android is in general release. The Mobile Worklists mobile app, which lets library staff update lists and item records from their mobile device when pulling titles for exhibits, fulfilling holds, and conducting inventory, is now available on the Android platform and offers libraries more options for getting work done from within the stacks. Innovative Interfaces has launched Mobile Worklists Release 2.7 to increase usability and efficiency for library staff through mobile management of items. This release includes the ability to sort lists by key fields, and view additional information on both the Item Detail screen and list view for increased efficiency in finding items and decision making. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Innovative launches Mobile Worklists in new cloud architecture. Innovative announced that Mobile Worklists is now available for download from the iOS App Store, representing a landmark for the company as its first completely cloud-based offering for libraries worldwide. Built on Innovative’s new Open Library Stack, Mobile Worklists fully integrates with the Sierra Library Services Platform and does not require a change of ILS for its existing customers. Mobile Worklists is the Company’s first native, multi-tenant, cloud-based product in production. Using mobile technology, this solution makes material handling and management tasks more efficient and staff more productive.
