Innovative Interfaces, Inc. INN-Reach modernization underway. Innovative, part of Clarivate, announced that a new version of INN-Reach is being rolled out to customers. There are now three INN-Reach Central systems, Maine InfoNet, LINKin in Illinois, and the Long Island LINK system that are now live on the upgraded platform. Upgrades for the Biblioteca de Catalunya in Spain is in the planning stages. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Maricopa County Library District selects INN-Reach to expand access for growing community. Maricopa County Library District, located in the fastest-growing county in Arizona, has introduced MAX, a new INN-Reach resource-sharing network. MAX brings together 14 out of its 15 public library systems, allowing its resident to borrow from a shared collection of library materials without the need for individual library expansion. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. 150 Libraries from Colorado State Library Join Prospector Consortium Using Innovative INN-Reach to Create One Statewide Shared Catalog. Innovative, a ProQuest company and leading global provider of library software, announced today that the Colorado State Library is merging SWIFT, a statewide resource sharing initiative, into the Prospector INN-Reach system managed by the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries. The project will add approximately 150 libraries to Prospector, creating a state-wide resource sharing network for Colorado libraries. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces announced that San Diego State University Library and Information Access (SDSU) has committed to using Innovative Resource Sharing, the consortial borrowing system of choice for member libraries in the San Diego Circuit. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Launch of INN-Reach Release 3.0 Sets the Stage for Seamless Integration Among All Libraries Using Innovative Resource Sharing Solutio. Innovative Interfaces has launched INN-Reach Release 3.0, delivering the same level of integration to Polaris library partners that libraries using Millennium or Sierra experience with the Innovative resource sharing solution. Through the use of Direct to INN-Reach APIs, this release eliminates the need for a Direct Consortia Borrowing (DCB) broker system, allowing all INN-Reach activities to be performed within Polaris or the Polaris Leap web application. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Innovative announces Beta Testing for Polaris to INN-Reach now in progress. Innovative Interfaces announced Polaris library partners now have a direct connection for the Polaris to INN-Reach resource sharing system. Currently in beta testing, Innovative will offer the same level of integration INN-Reach currently offers Sierra and Millennium users to those on Polaris, through the use of Direct to INN-Reach APIs. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. The Michigan eLibrary (MeL) Achieves One Million Requests. In December 2010, the Michigan eLibrary's online catalog, MeLCat, reached a new milestone by handling more than one million user requests in a single calendar year. Driven by Innovative Interfaces' INN-Reach direct consortial borrowing system, MeLCat allows users to order from more than 43 million items in the online catalog ranging from books, audio books, music, movies and more, which can be delivered to participating libraries. MeLCat is the first INN-Reach system to handle more than one million requests in a single calendar year. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Marmot Library Network to Join Prospector in 2011. The Marmot Library Network signed an agreement with the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries and Innovative Interfaces that allows Marmot to join the Prospector regional union catalog and interlibrary loan system. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Palo Alto City Library (CA) Joins LINK+ Resource-Sharing System. The Palo Alto City Library (CA) has joined LINK+, a direct consortial library borrowing system driven by Innovative's INN-Reach solution. The Library will use LINK+ in conjunction with their current integrated library system, Horizon, provided by SirsiDynix. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Contra Costa County Library (CA) goes live on LINK+. Innovative announced that Contra Costa County Library in California has gone live on LINK+, a direct consortial library borrowing system driven by Innovative's INN-Reach solution. Comprised of 48 public and academic libraries in California and Nevada, LINK+ members provide fast discovery and patron-driven requesting of any of over 30 million items from a single online portal. Contra Costa County Library will use INN-Reach in conjunction with their current ILS, Carl.Solution, provided by TLC. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Murdoch University Joins BONUS+ System (Australia). Murdoch University will join BONUS+, an Australian resource-sharing consortium that provides access to over 3.5 million volumes through a central portal or member online catalogs. Murdoch University is the first member in Western Australia and can now share materials with universities 2,000 miles away in New South Wales and Victoria. Murdoch University joins the six current BONUS+ members: Deakin University; University of Ballarat; University of Melbourne; University of Newcastle; University of Technology, Sydney; and Victoria University. Officially launched in February 2008, BONUS+ is driven by Innovative's INN-Reach direct consortial borrowing system. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. University of California, Riverside Libraries Join LINK+. The University of California, Riverside has joined LINK+, a library consortium that provides quick access to millions of books and other materials from its participating libraries. UCR is now the largest member of LINK+, as well as the first University of California campus and member of the Association of Research Libraries to enter into the consortium. Joining LINK+ quadruples UCR''s collection size from 1.8 million to 8.1 million available records. LINK+ is powered by INN-Reach, a direct consortial borrowing solution from Innovative Interfaces, Inc. that makes items available within two days at a fraction of the cost of the traditional interlibrary loan model. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Five-library cooperative launches Search Ohio. Innovative Interfaces announced that five library organizations have banded together to launch Search Ohio, a library consortium that will make any of over 7 million items available to their communities. Powered by INN-Reach, Innovative''s direct consortial borrowing system, Search Ohio will allow library users to make Web requests for books and media like CDs and DVDs and receive them within two to three days. Depending on their current collection size, each partner in the consortium will gain access to anywhere from 4.3 to 6.2 million additional items faster and at a fraction of the cost of traditional interlibrary-loan services. Search Ohio''s founding members are Westerville Public Library and the Ohio county libraries of Cuyahoga, Toledo-Lucas, Warren-Trumbull, and Youngstown-Mahoning. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Libraries using INN-Reach are high-performers in new ARL ILL/DD study. Association of Research Libraries study on mediated and user-initiated interlibrary loan and document delivery has found that libraries using INN-Reach provide the most cost effective and responsive services to their users. Seventy-two libraries, including eleven using INN-Reach, were surveyed in Assessing ILL/DD Services: New Cost-Effective Alternatives. The study compared user-initiated options (INN-Reach, ILLINET, RAPID, URSA), local document delivery, commercial document delivery, and mediated interlibrary loan. [Full Announcement].

State of Michigan. Library of Michigan and Innovative Interfaces Begin Contract Negotiations for the Michigan eLibrary Portal, Catalog and Resource-Sharing System Software. The Library of Michigan and Innovative Interfaces announced they are entering into contract negotiations for Innovative’s INN-Reach and Millennium Access Plus software to support the Michigan eLibrary portal, catalog and resource-sharing system. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Denver Public Library goes live on Colorado Alliance's INN-Reach system. Innovative Interfaces announced that the Denver Public Library, which operates a CARL system, has joined other libraries of the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries'' INN-Reach system. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Two more California State University Campuses join INNOPAC CSULink system. San Francisco State University and California State University Long Beach announced that they will join the CSULink Consortium. The Consortium uses the INNOPAC "INN-Reach" software from Innovative Interfaces Inc. to operate the CSULink union catalog and interlibrary-loan software to promote the sharing of collections among the students and faculties of the member institutions.
