4Science DSpace-CRIS latest release. On February 9th, 4Science, in collaboration with the DSpace-CRIS community, unveiled the latest iteration of DSpace-CRIS7, version 2023.02.02. Atmire Curtin University trades Digitool for DSpace. Atmire migrated Curtin's institutional repository espace from Digitool to DSpace 5. Curtin University is Western Australia’s largest and most culturally diverse university with Australia’s third largest international student population. [Full Announcement].

Detroit Area Library Network. DALNET Board Approves New Digital Archive Repository. The Detroit Area Library Network announced plans to begin work on a DALNET Digital Archive Repository where several unique collections will be available for free online access to DALNET institutions, researchers and the public. Hosted by the University of Detroit Mercy, the repository will be built using DSpace, an open-source software product that preserves and enables easy and open access to all types of digital content including text, images, moving images, mpegs and data sets.
