(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that OWLSnet, a public library consortium consisting of 29 libraries with 49 locations across two library systems in Northeast Wisconsin, has joined the CARL•X family.

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that Berkeley Public Library in California migrated to the CARL•X integrated library system, taking advantage of the fully hosted service model that TLC offers to customers.

July 25, 2019

(The Library Corporation) The Library Network in Southeast Michigan successfully migrated to TLC’s CARL.X ILS after 15 years with SirsiDynix Symphony. TLN says that their May 2018 launch of CARL.X in 50 libraries had no major problems or issues, and they checked out over 22,000 items on the first day.

February 14, 2019

(The Library Corporation) TLC announced the release of CARL.X version 9.6.3, CARL.Connect Discovery version 3.4.5, and CARL.Connect Staff version 1.5.3. These releases continue TLC’s trend of providing user-centered solutions to both library users and library staff. Each update removes barriers to service, and empowers libraries to connect with their unique communities.

(The Library Corporation) TLC announced that Berkeley Public Library in California chose CARL.X as their next integrated library system, taking advantage of the fully hosted service model that TLC offers its customers.

June 20, 2018

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that The Library Network, a coalition of 50 public libraries in Southeast Michigan, has migrated to TLC’s CARL.X ILS. The Library Network used SirsiDynix Symphony as their ILS for the past 15 years. However, TLC’s success with large library systems—and reputation to treat customers as partners—convinced TLN stakeholders, who unanimously agreed to make TLC their ILS provider for the future.

December 19, 2017

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey has successfully migrated to the fully hosted service model of the CARL.X ILS. SCLSNJ serves over 188k residents within their 15 member communities and circulates close to 3 million items annually. They are looking forward to working with TLC to strengthen the offerings that they provide to their staff and patrons.

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that the Nashville Public Library System and Metro Nashville Public Schools are now live on a joint CARL.X integrated library system. NPL migrated from Millennium by Innovative Interfaces Inc., while the Metro Nashville Schools moved to CARL.X from TLC’s Library.Solution for Schools.

(The Library Corporation) The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ) has selected TLC’s CARL•X as its next integrated library system after a competitive search of the marketplace and will be taking advantage of the fully hosted service model that TLC provides. CARL’s modern, intuitive online catalog and powerful staff interfaces are the perfect choice for SCLSNJ, which circulate close to 3 million items to over 1.5 million annual visitors.

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that the Monroe County Library System in Rochester, NY has chosen to continue their partnership with TLC by selecting the CARL integrated library system. With this decision, MCLS will remain a valued member of the TLC family that includes thousands of other libraries worldwide using their premium services.

August 30, 2016

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that the Solano Partner Libraries and St. Helena (SPLASH) Consortium have extended their CARL.X contract for an additional five years. The libraries of SPLASH have been a longstanding member of the TLC family beginning with their implementation of the CARL•Solution legacy system in 1992. They completed an upgrade to the CARL.X ILS in 2012.
