Follett Fujitsu and Follett partner to deliver innovative student information system to Ontario schools in Canada. Fujitsu Consulting announced it has been named the Preferred Vendor for the Student Information System and Services initiative through the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace and will deliver Follett’s Aspen Student Information System and related services to district school boards across Ontario. Fujitsu is partnering with Follett of Canada to set up and manage the SIS software application, delivery environment and integrated platform with either Software-as-a-Service or on-premise solutions, leveraging Follett’s Aspen platform in all cases. Follett New Jersey PreK-12 District selects Follett’s Aspen Student Information System. Bernards Township School District in Basking Ridge, N.J., capped an extensive two-year search by selecting Follett’s Aspen for its new student information system. The PreK-12 district implemented Aspen in time for the beginning of the 2017-18 school year. [Full Announcement].

Follett Chicago Public Schools selects Follett Aspen For Its new student information system. Following a lengthy search process, Chicago Public Schools has selected Follett Aspen for its new student information system. CPS intends to transition to Aspen in 2019. [Full Announcement].

Follett Follett Awarded Massachusetts SIS/SIF Preferred Vendor Status. Follett has once again achieved Massachusetts School Interoperability Framework (SIF) 2.7 certification and been awarded the “Certified” Student Information System (SIS) vendor designation for its Aspen product. All vendors must be certified before they may secure contracts with Massachusetts districts. [Full Announcement].

Follett Illinois PreK-8 District selects Follett’s Aspen Student Information System. Following a comprehensive search process for a new student information system (SIS), Joliet Public Schools District 86 has adopted Follett’s Aspen SIS. The search committee, comprised of 40 key stakeholders, met for nearly two years to identify and select the SIS that best fit the needs of the PreK-8 district, which is home to 12,000 students in 21 schools. Follett Washington D.C. K-12 School District Selects Follett’s Aspen Student Information System. District of Columbia Public Schools has selected Follett and its Aspen solution. Follett’s Aspen SIS will help the 47,000-student district capture, report, manage and analyze its student data, support enrollment, scheduling and behavior, and help track student attendance and prevent truancy. Comprised of 111 elementary and secondary schools and learning centers located in Washington, D.C., DCPS introduced Aspen into its elementary schools this year and plans to implement the solution districtwide this summer. Central Access Corp. announced a partnership with Follett to provide Mississippi schools and educators access to Follett’s Aspen Instructional Management System. The Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) today announced Follett is an approved student information system (SIS) vendor for the state, making it easier for schools to select Follett’s Aspen SIS, a robust web-based solution that maximizes the collection, reporting and management of student data and information. Follett Rhode Island Districts Turning to Aspen Student Information System to connect student data, classrooms and performance. Follett today announced that its Aspen software has been selected by the Foster-Glocester Regional Schools District as its preferred Student Information System (SIS). The district’s adoption expands the Aspen integrated data management platform to a third of all school districts and more than 57,000, or 40 percent, of all students in Rhode Island. After in-depth evaluation and review of eight student information platforms, Mukilteo (Wash.) School District has selected Aspen, Follett Software Company’s student information system (SIS). Follett Illinois District becomes first in state to adopt Follett Software’s Aspen SIS. Maine Township High School District 207 is the first district in the state of Illinois to select Aspen as its student information platform, Follett Software Company announced here this week. With nearly 7,000 students in three schools, the Park Ridge, Ill.-based district culminated its student information system (SIS) search a year after it began when it adopted Aspen – a web-based customizable student information system for school and district administration, learning and communications that also delivers state reporting requirements.
