ProQuest ProQuest, NYU Pilot Program offers students and faculty instant access to 150,000 Ebooks via app. New York University (NYU) Libraries and EdTech leader ProQuest have launched a pilot project that will make over 150,000 scholarly titles available to students and faculty via their mobile devices. NYU users can access coursebooks, ebooks, and reference works from major publishers through an e-reader app called SimplyE. [Full Announcement].

Springer. Springer signs deal to provide NYU with its Springer Book Archives. Springer announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide New York University (NYU) with the entire English-language contents of its Springer Book Archives. This deal grants access to around 50,000 English-language titles to researchers, students and faculty at one of the nation’s top-ranked universities. New York University has selected Innovative''s Electronic Resource Management to aid the evaluation, acquisition, and maintenance of their electronic resources. NYU needed Electronic Resource Management to manage the sheer scale of its collections: 24,057 e-journals from publishers, an additional 15,951 aggregated in commercial databases, 407 reference databases, and numerous products covering electronic books and primary source material.
