EBSCO Information Services Wichita State University enhances library access and innovation through MOBIUS and EBSCO FOLIO. Through its new membership with MOBIUS, the Wichita State University Libraries (WSU) has officially adopted the FOLIO platform with implementation and hosting support from EBSCO Information Services. Going live on September 16 as part of the consortium's shared tenant, WSU now participates in a regional network that simultaneously expands access to resources and enhances library innovation worldwide. Later this fall, the university will also launch OpenRS, the Open Library Foundation's open-source resource-sharing platform, to further improve knowledge access and streamline the delivery of materials across consortia. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Endeavor adds 86 new libraries to customer list. Endeavor Information Systems announced that 86 new academic and research libraries purchased the Voyager library automation system during a three month period from May 1999 through July 1999. This brings the total number of customer contracts to 271 serving over 545 libraries. [Full Announcement].
