Westchester Library System (NY) implements Patron Point. Patron Point announced that Westchester Library System in Elmsford, New York, has adopted our patron engagement platform. Implementing Patron Point will aid in supporting the WLS mission of empowering lives and communities by connecting the people of Westchester County with their 38 member libraries. Equinox migrates Westchester Library System to Evergreen. Equinox welcomed Westchester Library System to Evergreen. The adoption of Evergreen by the Westchester Library System will support their 399,438 patrons in addition to migrating 959,561 bibliographic records. Services provided by Equinox included Evergreen support, hosting, and auxiliary services in addition to project management and Evergreen software configuration. Data extraction and bibliographic deduplication were completed including authority, item, patron, transaction, acquisitions, and serials data. Authority Control services were provided during migration plus RDA and Lexile Enrichment. Westchester Library System Chooses SirsiDynix Unicorn. SirsiDynix announced the Westchester Library System in Tarrytown, N.Y., recently chose the SirsiDynix Unicorn Library Management System. WLS services 38 member libraries in Westchester County and a large county population of almost 950,000.
