Ex Libris The Alma Community exceeds 150 institutions as University of Windsor's Leddy Library selects Ex Libris Solutions. Ex Libris announce that the University of Windsor, a member of the Ontario Council of University Libraries, has selected the Primo discovery and delivery solution and the Alma library management service. Alma's automatic workflows and unified approach to the management of electronic, print, and digital resources will significantly improve library efficiency while also offering a range of new user services through Primo. Alma will replace multiple systems that are now in use—among them, the open-source Evergreen integrated library system. Primo will provide comprehensive discovery of library resources and will leverage Alma's smart fulfillment capabilities to optimize access to collections in all formats. [Full Announcement].

Atlas Systems, Inc. Atlas continues strong sales of Ares E-Reserves and Aeon Special Collections Management. Atlas Systems, the leading provider of time-saving solutions for libraries, ended 2011 with a surge in sales for both Ares and Aeon. Institutions that purchased Ares in the last half of 2011 include University of South Florida; Temple University (PA); Skidmore College (NY); American University (DC); University of Windsor (CAN); University of Victoria (CAN); Drexel University (PA); Harvard Kennedy School (MA); and University of Illinois. Equinox Project Conifer: Evergreen's First Academic Consortium- Goes Live. Project Conifer, the first academic consortium to be powered by Evergreen open-source library automation software, has gone live. Equinox Software oversaw data migration and software configuration and is providing ongoing technical support. [Full Announcement].
