The University of California San Francisco is now live with Aeon

Virginia Beach, VA. The Archives and Special Collections at the University of California San Francisco (USCF) Kalmanovitz Library is now live using Aeon to manage reader requests and staff workflows for their archives and manuscripts. Located on the Parnassus campus in San Francisco, California, the Kalmanovitz Library joins more than 100 institutions using Aeon in production.

The USCF Archives and Special Collections identifies, collections, organizes, interprets, and maintains rare and unique material to support research and teaching of health sciences and medical humanities to to preserve institutional memory. The UCSF Archives and Special Collections will use Aeon to provide access to request materials, schedule appointments, and request image reproductions from their collections.

Atlas staff assisted the special collections staff at the UCSF Library staff to configure Aeon to present a seamless experience for their readers and support local workflows throughout the implementation process. The Archive and Special Collections at the UCSF Library will continue to receive hosting and software support from Atlas.

We wish the Archives and Special Collections at the University of California San Francisco congratulations on their successful implementation project and welcome them to the Aeon Community.
