TIND The United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld Library selects TIND for its Digital Library System. TIND, an official CERN spin-off, was selected through formal tender by the United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld Library to provide their cloud-based Digital Library System based on CERN open source software. TIND will provide a flexible, scalable and integration solution replacing multiple ILS-, repository- and search platforms, including Horizon (SirsiDynix) and DSpace. The UN manages a vast collection of digitized and born-digital material that will be made accessible and preserved safely in the cloud-platform. The eventual scale of the collection is estimated at over 10 million files. [Full Announcement].

Innovative announced three new international library partners have selected the Millennium ILS: Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST), United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA)(Ethiopia), and University of Applied Sciences (Estonia). UNECA is migrating from a SirsiDynix Horizon™ system, while BIUST and University of Applied Sciences are first-time automators. Innovative currently serves libraries in over 50 countries. Lucidea The U.S. Mission to the United Nation launches SydneyPLUS. SydneyPLUS International announced a new partnership with the United States Mission to the United Nations, a publicly funded body representing U.S. foreign policy at UN assemblies. [Full Announcement].

Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. ENCompass user list grows: in place at 17 institutions. Endeavor Information Systems announced today that the ENCompass digital management system has been purchased by and delivered to a total of 17 institutions.
