Taylor and Francis United Arab Emirates University and Taylor & Francis announce open access partnership. United Arab Emirates University, the first and foremost comprehensive university in UAE, and international research publisher Taylor & Francis announced a new three-year transformative agreement. Researchers at UAEU can now choose open access in over 2,500 journals, boosting the potential reach and impact of their work. The new read and publish agreement, Taylor & Francis' first in UAE, will support the University's mission to provide impactful societal and research contributions, by ensuring everyone everywhere can access the latest UAEU research outcomes. Corresponding UAEU authors will be supported to publish open access articles in all Taylor & Francis and Routledge journals, both hybrid and full OA. In addition, UAEU researchers and students will also have access to read the latest research published in every Taylor & Francis journal. [Full Announcement].

OCLC United Arab Emirates University selects WorldShare Management Services as its library services platform. United Arab Emirates University has selected OCLC’s WorldShare Management Services to bring added value to students and faculty. WorldShare Management Services is a cloud-based library services platform with WorldCat as its foundation, which allows library staff to draw on the collaborative data and work of libraries worldwide for more efficient workflows. WMS also enables staff to better manage resources in all formats and to provide their users with improved access to the library’s electronic resources and the world’s knowledge. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. United Arab Emirates Consortium chooses Innovative's INN-Reach and Millennium systems. Innovative Interfaces announced that the United Arab Emirates Consortium in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates has chosen to install its INN-Reach Direct Consortial Borrowing System. In addition, all members of the consortium—Zayed University, United Arab Emirates University, and the Higher Colleges of Technology—will install separate Millennium library automation systems. They will be migrating from their existing Virtua and Horizon systems. [Full Announcement].
